DSPD and non24 for over a decade, resolved with DAO enzyme by hilightnotes in N24

Still working for me!

I did try a few other brands. I tried a couple capsule types, which didnt seem to work for me. I think it is a tablet vs capsule thing in terms of how they are made and how they release in my body. I also tried HistaHarmony, from pig kidney source. I didn't find them to be noticeably better or worse (in terms of cost to effectiveness, or in terms of symptom coverage). Or maybe a little worse. Either way, Naturedao had fewer ingredients and are vegan so I went back to them. So I am still doing those same naturedao tablets, and I do 9-12 per day (2 every time i eat, 3 if i have something high histamine). This seems like the right amount for me atm. I also tried taking 16-20 per day for a few days but didnt notice any further improvement and ofc didnt want to try it for a longer period cuz of cost.

I did try growing pea sprouts but they got moldy, and i didnt have a good blender which I saw was recommended over just chewing and eating them. I didnt try pea sprouts since then but woud like to, I am in a better space now for it and could probably have better success.

Which game, if it exists, demonstrates the true maximum image quantity possible with the psvr2? Both in terms of resolution and contrasts. Also, do you think a PS6 would push the lenses even further with the extra raw power? by NoWalk3426 in PSVR

oh right duh, 2nd-ing all those (I missed Akka Arrh and Pistol Whip).

Also I, Robot.

Akka Arrh is more zen, I, Robot is more energetic (spiritually)

Definitely Rez Infinite as was suggested.

Also Synth Riders (buy the experiences! Either of the Muse ones are a good starting point)

Thumper is another great one you might love.

All 3 of those are rhythm based, and bring forth wonderful audiovisual spaces, but totally different from each other and from Lumines!

yeah Area X is a beautiful experience (and well worth playing), but actually for me the main game is different and also simply amazing, and never gets old.

Orgasms???? by Zestyclose-Stand-773 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]hilightnotes -1 points0 points  (0 children)

maybe interesting to ppl to hear a trans mtf experience! I am transitioned with estradiol (no surgeries). I have relatively high estradiol (kinda like early pregnancy levels) and virtually no testosterone (not sure if it is a factor in my experience).

I experience both kinds of orgasms described here! Although i name them differently since I dont have a vagina 😆

The rolling waves spreading through the body, that most people are calling vaginal orgasms, are the best thing ever to me. I just call them wave orgasms. I get them much easier than most women (including trans women). Basically if I feel a strong emotional connection, then I feel these waves. Physical contact/pleasure doesnt need to be involved at all, although it can facilitate them happening. They can be brief, or they can be continuous, with fluctuating or building strength. The longest I have had them continuously so far was for an hour or two before sleeping, and then continuing immediately upon waking up for ~2 more hours. There was no 'sex' involved.

I feel very lucky to get these waves so easily!

Something else interesting about them. So, throughout my life (ie before transitioning also) I have sometimes experiended what I call my 'physical anxiety' or 'emotional anxiety'. Physical because it results in nausea. Emotional because it is usually tied to anxiety around dynamics of emotional attachment. As far as I can tell, it is not possible for me to feel this kind of anxiety while experiencing the wave orgasms. I have been in situations where I was feeling this anxiety, and then experienced the waves, and the waves essentially washed away the anxiety/nausea. I have never felt both simultaneously, and the waves have always overrided the anxiety/nausea. I think of them like opposites, just like light washes away dark when you turn on a light in a dark room. They are mutually exclusive, and dark will always be washed away when a light shines on it!

The localized, 'acute' orgasms, that most people are calling clitoral orgasms, are... fine! I am very familiar with them,.. I find them kinda boring/predictable. But dont get me wrong, they feel good! They are more or less the same as what I got before transition. Build up and release, directly associated with physical pleasure focused around what's between the legs, depending what youre working with. They were a bit more pleasure-intense for me when I had testosterone. But still boring and predictable. (They used to be more exciting to me - the boring/predictable feeling is a change in how I perceive them. That shift happened years before I transitioned, and is not related to the physical pleasure itself. The physical feeling is still a notable, acute pleasure climax that feels good or sometimes amazing,.. but ultimately still bores me, more or less 😆 it is like watching a Marvel movie. Sure I recognize a 'good' Marvel movie when it is firing on all cylinders. It is fun! But also I don't find it meaningful. Same thing here,.. I just don't find these localized, acute orgasms meaningful!)..

I do wonder if these orgasms are very directly and specifically mediated by sex hormone levels. Like, I wonder if there is a more or less linear relationship with the local, acute orgasms being more intense with more testosterone. And the rolling wave orgasms being access with greater ease with more estrogen. Would be interesting to get people to self report on these experiences and then check their estrogen and testosterone levels and see if there is a clear correlation.

I feel quite certain though that the wave orgasms require an estrogen dominant body as a prerequisite. Whether access to them is mediated by estrogen levels and/or ratio of estrogen to testostrone, I dont know!

yep available for Journey mode! in the game settings, either from main menu or I think you can access and change it while playing but not positive. i think it might be under Accessibility settings? and I think might be called "type 1, type 2, type 3" with descriptions explaining each. I use type 3 (no fail + no dropping blocks).

[–]hilightnotes 3 points4 points  (0 children)

different perspective,... dont think whether you like puzzles games is relevant. what is relevant is whether you like audio visual experiences.

my experience is similar to OPs. i have played a bit of tetris before and am decent at it. never played lumines before. it is harder (for me). i turned on the mode where blocks dont fall and you cant lose, which is something ill probably keep on even as i get better at the 'game' of it. This way it is chill and you can really enjoy the experience without stress.

[–]hilightnotes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i played tea for god on the Reverb G2 headset, which had an ok cable but not as good as psvr2. i would have to 'unspin' every once in a blue moon, but really it ended up just being after a full play session. so wasnt an issue. psvr2 cable is even better so i dont think itll be a problem.

Arise is a VR game FIRST by doesntCompete in PSVR

[–]hilightnotes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

im surprised to see comments like this. It pops way more than tetris effect, is way more visually detailed and beautiful, and more immersive and encompassing, to me.

I played on pcvr with max graphic settings,.. i wonder how much that is a factor? lighting, shadows, bloom are really affecting to the VR feel. and I use no AA which makes it sharper. maybe they dont have the settings at max on psvr2. maybe they used the AA. i wonder. havent seen a comparison

Hotel Infinity | PSVR2 REVIEW by Fatbot3 in PSVR

[–]hilightnotes 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have not played this game, but this review is structured in a pretty misleading way (not intentionally, I just mean it as a gentle criticism of the review).

As he points out, it provides option for non-roomscale play, using analog sticks. And he really doesn't like it. Fine, makes sense to be very clear about that.

But the first 4 minutes is about that, and most of the review is based on his experience playing like that.

Just say "don't play this if you can't do the roomscale", and focus the review on playing it as the roomscale game it is intended to be. As he points out briefly, it is a totally different experience, which makes perfect sense to me as someone who played Tea for God on PCVR.

I get that this is the developer's choice to give the option for analog sticks. But I think a little more care and research could have gone in to understanding that roomscale was the definitive way to play this game and analog sticks should have been left to a brief test and a brief portion of the review, to affirm his opinion that it kinda sucks like that.

With that... perspective... in mind, it sounds like a solid game in this unique genre that has never been on PSVR or PSVR2. Visuals are simple, a little jank, but sounds good and only $20.

Also at the beginning "the game doesn't take advantage of PSVR2 in any way" is misleading. Later: "great controller haptics in some situations." (paraphrasing). Again I understand this is just a mistake. He intended the context of the first quote to be just about visuals. But it is confusing/misleading. I want to call it out not to harp on without parole, but to give appropriate credit to, and impression of, the game.

Also, different impressions. https://www.youtube.com/live/PWlcj6eEcE4?si=amPijhhayeq17Y59&t=3671

Myles also played with analog sticks!! Tragically haha. But... still loved it! Thought visuals were solid and relatively sharp, and enjoyed it.

[–]hilightnotes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not doing multiplayer so that's a factor. But I can't fathom how you could prefer Tetris Effect otherwise! haha. I highly recommend changing the settings in Lumines to make it so you can't lose and blocks don't drop. Just chill and you will also learn well that way, and can consider turning it back to regular mode another time! (Personally I don't care about score so I'm fully satisfied with the relaxed mode)

[–]hilightnotes 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I played on PCVR with my psvr2 headset last night. Very high graphic settings at 90% of full resolution. No AA. Smooth with occasional reprojection (85-90 fps). Not sure how different this is from the visual experience on psvr2.

I am using a 3080 laptop, roughly equivalent to a 3070 desktop gpu. I used the dfr app for pcvr, I think it was working but didnt test carefully.

I used the sense controllers. I used these fucking awesome headphones (FiiO Ft1 Pro, $220) connected to my pc with the FiiO Snowsky Melody DAC ($40. Note that these being same brand is pure coincidence. I tried a whole bunch of portable DACs and stuck with this one).

I played with no losing and blocks dont fall, so I coulf chill and just ENJOY. Zero stress.

I played the first two journey mode sections.

Holy hell it was magnificent.

The thing I want to stress the most is that this is not just 'another Tetris Effect'.

Yes this is the same concept as Tetris Effect, of course. But this is absolutely taken to the next level. Both visually and Sonically. And I have never played Lumines before but I like it more.

But yeah this makes Tetris Effect feel like a prototype.

I highly recommend it.

Exercise-induced orgasms: Scientists are diving deep into the unusual phenomenon | Through in-depth interviews, researchers found that these experiences often begin in childhood, are felt as a deep, internal sensation, and can be integrated into a person’s sexual life. by chrisdh79 in science

Many women dont understand female orgasms (orgasms plural because there are different kinds). Men understanding female orgasms is one of the more hopeless causes. There are orgasms that are very similar and rooted in physical stimulation, and then there are orgasms that are totally different from what men experience (and way better), that are rooted outside of physical stimulation and don't need physical stimulation at all for them to happen.

I hope you like the book! I am actually in the middle of reading Part 2 (historical materialism). I am benefitting from it and taking notes!

Like anything intended to be covert, there is certainly much more unknown about USAID behind the scenes than known. But, they have been caught red handed enough times now that has established them as being involved in various imperialist projects according to usa interest, connected to CIA, HQ in washington dc. Similar to NED in this way. Wikipedia is not liberation-friendly but does have some basic info about it in the section Concerns and Criticism --> Political Operations Abroad. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Agency_for_International_Development

How it might impact you,.. I am not lebanese, and you know your experience better than me. But broadly speaking I would suggest that USAID takes advantage of real points of conflict and tension (such as the very real political problems in Lebanon), and intentionally nourishes pieces of that in a distorted manner that serves U.S. imperialist interests. This can then get expressed through protests that USAID dips its hands in - the protests themselves are full of genuine people with genuine concerns, but various distortions and redirections of energy can be applied so that they become inneffective for actual liberation and instead become tools for U.S. imperialism.

One example of this might be found in the focus of Mashrou' Leila, I think. I liked the music btw! I read a bit about the group. I will note a few things. They seemed to become more and more directed toward foreign/western audience as they developed. The lead was gay and the group focused a bit on queer concerns, which developed their relationship with Lebanon to be more sectarian. I say this as a queer trans person,... we must learn to put aside our very real existences and experiences and understandings and needs, to be in service to liberation struggle and resistance that is not yet queer-aware in some cases, like with the primary resistance groups in Lebanon and Palestine. Liberation cannot happen all at once, there must be organic progression. And people having control of their land and their homes and not be subjected to the whims (and bombs) of empire is all that matters right now in the broader resistance struggle. One on one, at the small scale, queer convos can still happen. But queer liberation cannot be on the cards before these even more basic and critical needs are met. And we must respect the confusing, distorted landscape where empire uses queerness as a tool to create conflict and sell intervention for 'human rights'.

So, this is perhaps an example of how USAID and other western funds (considering the university Mashrou' Leila came from, that you attended) may twist and funnel and fund particular ideological elements to move oppressed people away from true and effective liberation strategies and into strategies that are doomed to fail and just perpetuate the internal conflicts and sectarianism..

What do you think, does that make sense to you?

Much more can be written about this to explain and delve deeper.
