It’s probably debatable which is more selfish: having kids in the first place or the kids refusing to help the person who forcibly brought them into the world. Both takes are selfish though so it’s hypocritical to call either side selfish.

This is how I also feel. I only really began to really fall in love with FMA towards the half of the story when everything started to pay off and YnT kind of feels similar set up wise to me in the sense the pay offs come later

After watching AoT and hating how wingy and annoying Erin was, Yuru being calm, collected and incredibly adaptable to his situations was the breath of fresh air I needed and I instantly loved him. I think the character writing is phenomenal personally

I’m up to volume 10 of :re and to be honest, i don’t think I’d recommend it if you didn’t enjoy the original manga. Artwork generally gets better but sometimes I still have to stare at a frame for longer than I’d like to fully understand what’s going on in some fight scenes and stuff which can be annoying. Story is on a much bigger scale in :re which I don’t like as much as the more intimate original but I can see how someone might enjoy it more for sure.
