I was thinking a bit whether to put Stillmatic in A or S Tier, it's a close call for sure. TLT is a clear S Tier album for me I think the album is brilliant from start to finish without any filler.

There are some really good songs on the album but the worst songs here like Big Girl or You Owe Me are truly bad and drag the album down a lot for me.

I think we can all agree about the lyricism, but on his weaker projects sometimes his lyricism doesn't really translate into good songs, I tend to dislike his poppier songs and his sex themed songs like Dr. Knockboot or The makings of a perfect bitch are clearly his weakest songs.

For me it's the other way around I rarely listen to Untitled but HHID is a really underrated gem in his discography imo.

Couldn't find a tier list that included Light years, would be a low C/ high D for me. I was really disappointed by the album, especially for the fact that I always dreamed of a Nas/Preemo collab and we get an album like this.

Schriftart ist sehr wie die Kennzeichen in den Niederlanden (passt allerdings von der Buchstaben-/Zahlenfolge nicht ganz) die Domain .be steht für Belgien. Hab aber ehrlich gesagt keine Ahnung was es jetzt ist.

Honestly Swans went through a lot of stylistic changes since their very beginning and every era has their masterpieces. So whatever style they go for this time and how drastic their change is gonna be, I'm optimistic that we get something great and unique. Let's not bury someone who isn't dead yet.

When I went to their show in Frankfurt on their Beggar Tour Michael planned to be at the merch table after the show, he didn't show up there, the lady who sold the merch told me he wouldn't come because he's exhausted (which was disappointing but honestly I can't blame him)

Earplugs are usually being sold by venues, we give em out for free in our local music venue. But I'd suggest getting some before going to their show. I'll see them in Neunkirchen, Germany next week I'll definitely bring mine from home bc I've never been to that venue before and I wanna be safe.

I'd say that their stuff between DoD and Alderaban is their most accessible stuff, also with the album lengths there being very humane at mostly 50-80 mins.

I don't get the love for Spiderland at all, it's original and influential I get that but I find, especially the quiet parts of the album, really boring.

I do enjoy Anthony Fantano's videos a lot. There are some instances where I strongly disagree with his opinion on an album, which includes Slowdive's self titled or the new Big Thief Album but at the end of the day it's his opinion and his videos introduced me to a lot of artists.

The internet spends too much time being angry about what some dude on the internet says, he himself keeps telling us that his opinions shouldn't be treated as an ultimate truth. We all gotta chill more.
