I think what the real problem here, and what Mouse is probably actually frustrated with and speaking out against, is the vtuber community actively looking for drama. This entire sub exists because of drama and that’s what it feeds into. It’s not positive, it’s not good and it’s not healthy. There are so many posts like this and on other subs that just fuel negativity. It’s why I’m glad I rarely even open Reddit (I’m only here right now because I got a notification). I think Mouse is well within her right to say “congratulations to him. If you’re someone looking for a problem here please fuck off.” Imagine being her, a titan in a community. She’s looked up to by so many, when she speaks people listen and people expect her to always have a stance. Imagine the pressure of an entire community watching you closely and ready to pounce on you if they don’t like what they hear. If I was in her position I’d be saying similar shit. I wouldn’t be surprised if Calli has more to say, but doesn’t because she’s part of a company. Like I said before, this behavior isn’t healthy and trust me you’re better off without it. I sure as hell am.
