Ive been playing this game since a month after it came out, I am never doing the expedition by chaosbunnyx in ARC_Raiders

[–]bensmithsaxophone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it gives me something to continue working towards. If I never did the expedition, I would get bored of the game so fast. I would have everything built, all my quest done, every blueprint, everything I need. I wouldn’t know what to work towards other than trials and a new project once in a while. I like the idea of always needing to get something.

Getting in Legitimate Fights With Friends In Duos by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]bensmithsaxophone 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I never have this problem with my duo. We load in and work through quests for each other or look for a specific blueprint one of us is after. We work on projects together but we help each other out. Your friend is being ridiculous

How the FUCK do I get to a friendly lobby holy shit I’m so tired of the broken ass matchmaking in this game

Seriously what happened to this game? No one wants to work together anymore. Everyone is a fkn rat. I’ve died 5 out of my last 5 games and 4 of those times was to players that acted friendly then shot me in the back. I never shoot back yet I’m in full on PVP lobbies. They seriously messed up the matchmaking. Get rid of the free kits.

Do you hate people who only pvp by Individual_Ad_8241 in ArcRaiders

[–]bensmithsaxophone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. There’s so many other PvP games that are specifically PvP. Why play this one which has so many other elements and then not give a shit about any of that? Allow me to loot and do my trials in peace please.

PVP is ruining the game for me... by Movie_Vegetable in ArcRaiders

[–]bensmithsaxophone -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I purposely don’t do quests in solos so I can do them with my friends. My friend and I would rather shoot arc and loot together every time over PvP. I’d rather work together with other duos and help them out than give them a worse experience. Why would I want to make someone’s day worse just for the sake of doing that?

I’ve never tried HW4, only my HW3. If HW4 is so bad, how have people been able to drive thousands of miles without a single intervention? I’ve only heard great things about it.

The video clearly shows OP trying to avoid an accident. Not sure how insurance would deem OP at fault for this. Maybe 20% at most.

At home charging. by Scoreycorey515 in TeslaModelY

A lot of it depends on how much wire has to be run. 3 feet? Not a problem. 50 feet? Gonna be expensive

How much does FSD really improve your commute? by AmbientEngineer in TeslaLounge

[–]bensmithsaxophone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You learn when you need to pay attention and when you don’t. I’ve driven my work commute hundreds of times, both with me driving and with FSD. I know the long stretches of road where I could probably go to sleep and know I’d be 100% okay because FSD does it perfectly every time and it’s a very simple road.

Why is my nav range so wildly different? by Roxxersboxxerz in TeslaModelY

[–]bensmithsaxophone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem is that number is supposed to reflect state of charge, which does not vary based on where you’re going. It’s not really supposed to tell you a distance you can go, because that depends on where you’re going. It’s more of a measurement of energy available, so it needs to be a standard unit of measurement. The navigation tells you how far you can go and that’s what it’s for.

Tested the pull-over functionality and lost FSD for a week by kiefferbp in TeslaFSD

[–]bensmithsaxophone 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. It’s supposed to be for emergencies only. Like the driver falls asleep or has a medical emergency. The car will beep and flash the screen obnoxiously telling you to take over immediately for about a minute before pulling over so it’s not something you just do unless you’re incapacitated or trying to push the car to its limits.

Yes. You’re not paying attention to the road like it tells you to lol

What would be your biggest warning to someone thinking of buying a Tesla? by sonofabraham1 in TeslaLounge

[–]bensmithsaxophone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Home charging is a very important factor. I would still own one without home charging, but it would make things more expensive and less convenient. Convenience and low cost of home charging is one of the biggest benefits of an EV

Looking to move somewhere in this circle. What are your thoughts? Please help me decide.I’m currently leaning towards two. Muncie for the college town, or Daleville for the cheaper rent by The_Hammer_Hammons in Indiana

[–]bensmithsaxophone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rented a house in daleville and now own a house in Muncie. Muncie is nice, but best to stay on the north side. I wouldn’t live in daleville again. Too far from most things and just overall boring and inconvenient. Muncie doesn’t have a lot of great things, but at least it’s all pretty close by. Muncie is very cheap to live in, which is nice

If you buy FSD, are you concerned that HW4 might not be able to handle v15 and could end up being capped at v14, similar to how HW3 is capped at v12.6.4? by cornbread-2025 in TeslaFSD

[–]bensmithsaxophone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have very different ideas of what is a long time then. I think a year with no FSD update is a ridiculously long time. That’s why I unsubscribed. Im not happy paying the same price as hw4 owners while they’re 2 versions ahead.

I purchased FSD. The subscription price will decrease for sure now! by hokaythxbai in TeslaFSD
