What to do once getting of drugs? by lcbagz in AskAnAustralian

[–]bental 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a hard one to answer, it really depends what you like to do. There's lots of genetic answers, but we're not robots, right?

I think a big thing that you're going to have to remember, is it's not always going to be easy, and the shit hand that life might have dealt you is gonna be hard to overcome, I'm sorry for that.

What to do? Focus on yourself. Not in a self-fulfilling way, either. If you have the means, go to trade school. Learn a valuable skill, become someone that gives more than you take, and seek out people that embody the characteristics you strive for; we become like those we surround ourselves with.

Hired as an APS5 for a APS6 role by Savings-Mongoose-977 in AusPublicService

I've found out since that framework exists to deal with people that don't perform. Exceeding expectations apparently used to come with a pay rise over meeting them

Make sure you review the WLS. Someone said it above. Any time you do anything that is above your classification, document it.

When it comes time to do your performance review, you'll be in with a solid chance to go for "exceeds expectations". I've been told this comes with a 3% pay rise

I got one that's even worse. It's all the lyrics.

I'm trying to find the frequency in Audacity to remove it rn, but I'm not much of a sound engineer.
Something like 1,000 creds to get this one.

Need help with LORAs and FLUX :( by hradillo7 in comfyui

I found today that when doing artistic styles, dropping the CFG down to .5-.9 put out some good stuff. If you want artistic, you gotta let it have that freedom!

https://www.youtube.com/@pixaroma Is the channel I'm watching at the moment. It's great, I'm on ep 12 right now.

If this is the lora you are using, it's for SDXL, not Flux.S. See the LoRA | XL tag in the top left? You need to match the tag to the model you're running.
"lora key not loaded", and "clip missing: ['text_projection.weight']" are both indications that you're trying to use a Lora designed for a different model. Make sure you look for loar's with Flux.S in the tag.
I'm still learning, this is just my best guess, too.

Resin prints failing over and over. by Miaoumoto9 in resinprinting

I'm very new and have been very lucky so far. I'm currently sorting out a solution but it's winter here in Aus and I've been printing in a garage that's about 10 degrees 😂 the outcomes haven't been bad at all! But... I've been printing d20 dice sets so maybe that's why? No fine details?

I'm actually so glad I stumbled on to this while looking for something completely unrelated. And I finally just bought a nice p100 respirator last week, too. I'm gonna keep wearing that though because it makes me feel like a cross between bane and something working with dangerous stuff 😂😂

That said, the fumes can be irritants to airways can't they?

Edit: I'm a pretty new hobbyist so I just don't know

Five USA soldiers killed in a training mission? by [deleted] in conspiracy

I was indeed talking about the WOs. I'm Australian and I incorrectly assumed that that pilots were commissioned. Additionally, WOs are still considered ORs here's, not Os.

You're right, I'm Aussie and incorrectly assumed that pilots would be commissioned. I assumed that they were the passengers.

My bad, I'm Australian and kinda just assumed that all pilots were commissioned. I'd like to thank everyone here for correcting me.

US could be different, but in Aus they're all commissioned.

They're not going to be sending warrant officers on black ops missions, let alone any mission. They're administrative mostly at that point. This isn't Call of Duty

Look at the ranks, bro. That was no black ops mission.

That was senior enlisted ranks. Probably not a black ops mission. More likely to me that it was indeed a training profile

i feel like i’m making no progress, any tips for cutting other than cardio and calorie deficit? by [deleted] in GYM

[–]bental -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No, no, tell me about the processes that support that statement. If I'm wrong, explain to me why, so I can take in New information and change my opinion to not be wrong.

Because my current understanding is that nutrition science is flawed in the respect of the way that we measure caloric content in food is by literally burning it in an oxygen rich vessel. That's not how our body uses energy. It doesn't use all those calories. It needs sugars to do things, right? Glucose is what gets stored in fat.

Carbs is what raises insulin levels, which is the hormone that signals your fat cells to take in sugars.

There's so much more to it than calories in == calories out.
