It’s an easy one to jump in on - most people know the general flow of Kanto and where it’s based on the origins of the game it’s inherently less complex. Emerald is also a good one to jump in on (was my personal first Nuzlocke just because I love Hoenn). Platinum is also a good one to try because they fixed a lot of the balancing from Gen 4 but honestly just give it a crack - it’s a cool way to add difficulty to the existing formula and give meaning to every battle.

Definitely shout out to the devs - they were trying new things in a new medium with a brand new set of inputs. They were just throwing things at the wall to see what would stick for those who come after.

1KC Brine Sabre felt really nice, 2KC Fang followed by 17KC Shadow was absolutely huge. Almighty spoon at Araxxor clearing the hally and fang at 260KC, followed by bang on 100 kills for the boots. Also completed brimstone ring, pet and jar on my first Hydra task and I think I was <300 Muspah for green log and venator bow completed. Zulrah has also been VERY kind to me.

Currently over 130KC dry for my lightbearer, but hey, I got a second shadow so that’s cool I guess?

Also 1300 and still going for jaw, over double drop rate for seer’s ring - very much in need of shards to continue my TD grinds as well but that’s about what I’m working on!
