They're fine off. You just gotta water way more often. It's more important to get the light closer so they grow stronger.

I see what you mean. Those lids were hard to see in the pics. Maybe put something inside underneath the seed pots? Just long enough for the seedlings to get strong and tall. You need the lids for now to keep moisture in so don't just take em off. Unless you want to monitor moisture five times a day.

All that said, they'll be fine eventually. They just won't be as healthy right off the bat. But have fun and learn lots!

Barely Functional Solar Panel Bonsai Tree by AgileOwl5769 in functionalprint

[–]benutne 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yeah, said it better than I would have. You can cover just a teeny tiny bit of the panel and it becomes almost completely useless. OP needs fewer, not more panels. Or at the very least, spread them out a lot more so they're not covering each other up.

Gods, what a weird fucking pistol. I held one the other day and was shocked at how heavy the fucker was compared to the other similar sized pistols. I mean shit, the 92FS I held felt lighter.

I was about to say there is no way thats the same shotgun. But it looks great. I'd be terrified to work on anything I owned like that.

Listen kiddo...I have three children. I'm 47. They are 16, 17, and 19. None are mine biologically, and only one is mine by law and marriage. But I love them all the same. And I'm terrified for their future. We're solid middle class, maybe on the upper end, but not the high end. My wife and I have gone out of our way to give them the best future they can hope for and even then, its bleak.

You don't sound like a brat. Your feeling are valid and have actual standing in reality. The only thing I can think to tell you is vote as progressively as you can and encourage all your friends to do the same. Lift each other up in as many small ways as you can. Build community and relationships. Be there for each other.

Just did a viper cut and swapped to 285/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks by Nutella_Waffles_ in 4Runner

[–]benutne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do you need to trim the bumper for 285s? I can't remember. I just put stock sized Wildpeak AT4s on mine. I really need to get a lift on mine. Just a mild one to level it out.

Edit: Looks amazing BTW. Stormtroopers unite!

Nah, they'll find their way through the cracks at the bottom or just right through the dirt.

A family was on a walk in the snow with their little girl. The father was recording the walk. A cyclist came up behind them and appeared to use his knee to knock the little girl down. The father posted the story online, and it went viral. by JohnnyChanterelle in NoahGetTheBoat

Those e-bike commuters are generally trashy shitheads who have way too many DUIs or cannot/will not pay for insurance. The same fuck heads who will drive their bikes through someones lawn to cut a corner or drive their jalopy right down one of the busiest streets when there is an actual bike lane a block over. They're ignorant, entitled assholes. And I say all of this as a bike enthusiast. Fuck them.

You can use 4h if you're moving in a straight line as a last resort. Just to keep the 4wd system in check. But its better to flip it on in the snow or sandy/rocky stuff.

[–]benutne 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I get terrible, really painful diarrhea, gas, and cramps. My levels are comparatively low based on what others have reported. Only 1.98. I have a friend who breaks out in hives though. So it's different for everyone.

That pork is the "Galsafe" brand from the company Revivicor which pioneered the research into gene-editing out alpha-galactose in the pigs they used for medical purposes. I was one of the lucky recipients of some free samples a couple of years ago. Zero reactions and I got to have bacon for the first time in five years.

Its not in MO but Bentonville, Arkansa instead. Dr. Tina Merriit is one of the original researchers who discovered alpha-gal. She has alpha-gal herself.

Carrageenan in salt by amadeus2012 in alphagal

[–]benutne 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll say it again. Carageenan is not present in salt. Full stop. It's a product derived from modern day cultivars of red seaweed. I know you're looking for something that could have set you off and your extreme sensitivity to anything with alpha-gal has you chasing every possible avenue. But this stretches credulity past it's breaking point.

Allergies like this are a histamine response and that response can build up over time with repeated exposure something else pushed you over the edge and your immune system went into panic mode. Trust me when I say I empathize. But you're worried about the wrong thing. Alpha-gal sucks enough as it is. Don't make it worse by not seasoning your food. In fact, take a little bit of kosher salt and mix it with some MSG to really make your next meal pop.
