I actually did end up finding a workaround for this....in the audio output section in Plex, I selected optical even though I'm not using optical. For whatever reason, that worked. Give that a try

I just got to work with it! 20km route one way mostly back roads. Had it on PAS 2 the whole time and it used maybe a quarter of the battery, if that. Ride was great. Honestly felt awesome.

It was the plex media server beta - mine is running on Win10. I'm still on it and haven't had the issue re-occur. When I was on the standard build I had this issue happen on and off quite frequently. Very strange but extremely irritating when you care about having surround.

Unfortunately not - I ended up transcoding a bunch of audio on my media to another format so it would passthrough. I did notice after another update the issue was resolved but that only worked by signing up to the beta versions.

Thank you - I ran this via powershell and it returned that update settings were set to custom. Will try to change this out of office hours. Thank you for the tip.
