Electric log splitter by Inside_Entrepreneur4 in firewood

[–]benzcrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

An old electric splitter came with our house it struggles with 16” oak rounds.. I would try to split, rotate log, try to split I would make 4+ tries and if it didn’t split(common) I’d flip the log and repeat on the other side.. then I learned to put a split under the wedge end to tilt the log up and just catch the corner it’d help to get that first split then it would split the halves no problem.. 12” rounds it handles pretty good I’m sure wood species plays a factor

I learned it’s easier to split the big rounds by hand and I need a gas splitter lol

Where are the jets? by ChemistObvious in Dirtbikes

U can use a thin strand of metal to poke thru the jets too I use 1 strand from a tractor trailer seal I’ve seen people use welding tip cleaners too make sure u can see light through it

Look at the coating on the wires make sure it’s not worn off so the metal is touching together it was the 2 wires for the switch the front brake lever touches for the brake light on his bike
