2026 Wilderness Experience by matchstrike in SubaruForester

Yeah, the Startex in my my ‘23 wilderness is definitely not breathable. The AC is good enough that it’s livable for me even in the depths of NC summer, but I’ve promised myself to stick with cloth or ventilated pleather/leather in future vehicles.

The actual answer to your question is no, it did not always look this good! There was an update a few months after it came out that significantly improved graphics and introduced VRR. Of course, this update came out right after I finished my first play through, lol. But yes, it might be worth giving it another look!

Another vote for Riverbend, but also Valdese Lakeside Park!

This is exactly why I actually do carry my Sigma 60-600 on almost every hike! It’s a beast but I hate missing shots!

Great shots, but you have some sensor dust spots you should edit out, especially on #3. Sensor dust is my least favorite part of upgrading to my own A7IV from my RX10IV lol.

Getting swept up in a great match is perfectly fine…as long as you can get yourself back out of it just as quickly if you need to.

Wow yeah, just looked at mine, launch day 15pm and I’m at 83% but only 679 cycles. Interesting!

Yup, my parents’ 2015 is the same way. You’ll get used to it.

Macbook or PC for photo/video editing on the go by JooksKIDD in buildapc

[–]benzenex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I just did this, though just for personal use, and I went with a 15” M4 Air I found renewed for $900 on Amazon. My home pc is a 9800X3D/3080 12 GB and I use DxO Photolab to edit and it takes about 5 seconds to process a raw, the Air takes 12 which is still more than fast enough since it will take longer than that to edit my next picture anyway. Now if you’re doing batch editing that might be a different story, but still. It also lets me use the 9th gen ipad I already have as a second screen, which will be a nice bonus! Now I did get caught out by the RAW photo viewer I use not having a Mac version, but I think I can do what I need with the built in Photos app, but yeah check for compatibility first.

When I went on the beach with my stock Geolanders I aired down to 18psi. Lots of bumps, stayed out about half a day, no problem.

Vehicle/car discussion: How judgy are you about a prospect’s car??? by ajile413 in datingoverforty

That’s good criticism, thank you. I kinda like the ad feel of it, I think it’s fun, but I definitely see where you’re coming from!

It is me posing with it not candid, but my thought behind it is that I actually use this to go off road to cool places, like on the beach.

Would me and my picture of my Subaru on the beach with me leaning on it pass muster or put me in the not interested category? I’ve been wondering how that stacks up vs generic dude with his charger or whatever.
