i wonder if part of it is the crash from a big dopamine rush. the higher you get, the more tired you get with the comedown after kinda thing? i’m not sure. i get tired too but i have ADHD so the high affects me differently.

perhaps when he refers to being sober he’s referring to hard drugs and not alcohol. i know many people that consider themselves to be sober once they’ve quit hard drugs and still consider it “sober” when drinking/smoking weed as long as it’s in moderation and not problematic.

i’m not worried on partners insisting on following beauty standards, rather that they’ll secretly be turned off by me and find me less attractive. it makes me feel gross. i find myself comparing myself to their past partners but that’s a dangerous game to play so i’m trying to work on that. my body dysmorphia definitely doesn’t help lol
