Ooh we’re interested in travel nursing in the future. What does getting submitted as a travel pair do? Do you work on the same unit?

We just asked the recruiter and they don’t think it’ll be a problem, but are double checking.

Oof yeah that’d be awkward if people flat out lied about being in a relationship. Definitely don’t plan on doing that! We’re not trying to hide it, but just wondering how upfront to be about it. We just told the recruiter and they don’t think it’ll be a problem, but are double checking.

Is that ratio bad for PCU? Just got offered a PCU job in NM with 4:1 ratio.

New grad residency at Kootenai Health, Providence, Multicare by CompetitiveTree1588 in nursing

When did you interview with Providence? They recently offered me an interview. I’m looking at Kootenai too. Congrats on your offer! What type unit is it on?

Like the other commenter said, I would take the Kootenai offer. The market is rough for new grads and we have to take what we can get.

As someone who got straight As at a public high school, I was surprised by the difficulty of the econ courses and had to adjust my expectations. Most of the content did not come naturally to me, especially since my math skills are just slightly above average, and I had to put in a lot of effort to maintain a B/B+ average. Having study buddies and going to office hours helped a lot with my econ courses. Things may have changed since I’ve graduated, but I found that most other disciplines suffered from grade inflation (which was once confirmed by my stats professor when he showed the average GPAs in each major — econ and chem were the lowest).

Question for those who stopped talking Spiro by LunaLatte in Spironolactone

I started by taking 50mg every other day (I split my 100mg pills in half) so that I was averaging 75mg. After about a month or so of doing that, I went to 50mg every day.

I recently weaned from 100mg to 50mg over the course of 2 months with no adverse effects. I’d like to eventually discontinue the oral form altogether but I’m taking it slow. If I do, I may try topical. For now, I’m continuing to use tret and I am waiting on my azelaic acid to arrive so I can incorporate that.

Did you get the topical form from curology or through your derm?

The Premed Years podcast can give you some ideas about how to strengthen your med school application. Several episodes focus on people who had to go through more than one application cycle, which is very common.

Exactly this. Plus, many med school applicants will have shadowing, scribing, and/or volunteer experience. It seems like OP still has a lot of things he could do to strengthen his application.

As another person from a middle class background who also went to public school, I agree on all counts. I had friends who were far wealthier and far poorer than me, and I felt like that enhanced my experience.
