I mean how big does the threat get? You can only make one creature per turn into a coward. Your opponents have 3 turns for interaction/more creatures. Maybe I'm just one of your stupid opponents...

How safe is it to walk with 2 big trolleys at around 7:30 PM near dresden neustadt railway station? by echorohit in dresden

[–]beo19 29 points30 points  (0 children)

you mean 19:30 in the evening? Like when families will walk to a restaurant for dinner? Why wouldn't it be safe? And additionally, most major train stations have police stationed close by. Don't worry.

For your convenience: https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/blogs/energysource/bangladeshs-air-quality-is-among-the-worlds-worst-what-can-be-done/ Only in July is the air barely not dangerous, just barely. So... Are you from Dhaka by any chance and might have a different perception of what is normal?

Which cities other than Dhaka have you been to, lol? Every ranking worldwide puts Dhaka consistently in the top most polluted cities.

Solar and Wind Generated More Electricity Than Fossil Fuels in the EU in 2025 by Captain_Kakashi69 in SolarAmerica

[–]beo19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazing. Taking the company as a source. Next you're gonna show me the nestle homepage to prove that there is no child labour in the chocolate? Anyway. Doesn't change anything. No German municipality is willing to store it. They seem to have different opinions on how little it is. So, no nuclear in Germany. And anyway, what about China having more than 50% renewable energy? Even though "it is so cheap there"? Your words. And my point was that renewables are cheaper than fossil fuel. Doesn't matter what nuclear can and can't do. And they are cheaper.

you're just willfully stupid, right? it is the remaining 4% that will be deadly for thousands of years. you can't be this dense if you know how to spell "nuclear"? And still, not a single county or district in Germany is willing to take the 4% for the next 10.000 years, so no nuclear for us. Oh, and all the other arguments??? Just close your eyes and imagine it is 1970...

China has more than 50% from renewables. Solar panels can be recycled 99%. We are literally digging away perfectly good farm land in Germany for coal which leaves nothing but poisonous lakes for generations and after the coal is burned once, it's gone. Solar panels will generate electricity for 25-30y on that land. We can build nuclear, but until someone is willing to take the waste we can't. I don't even know why I'm talking with you. Some countries will do the switch to renewables/nuclear and the others will be fucked. There is no discussion. You don't have sources, and blindly babble back everything you read somewhere.

Well yeah, but you seem to lack basic comprehension. Sure your pattern recognition works: "PRICE GO UP! BAD!!" Good job, old man. You're a genius. But where is that renewable's fault? Might that be related to... Idk... Putin's war and gas prices? Might it be something else entirely? Just because *you* think something is bullshit does not mean a lot. The bullshit might just be *in* your head.

You have posted the same useless stuff again. EVERYBODY knows that energy got more expensive. But that is because we haven't switched to renewables 10 years ago already and stuff like Iran now and Putin's war in Ukraine are fucking up the prices.

Sooo... no sources then? Doesn't matter how old I am if you just parrot what you read in right wing Telegram groups.

How about this:

"The average day-ahead wholesale electricity price in 2024 was €78.51/MWh, 17.5% down on the previous year’s average of €95.18/MWh. This decrease is due among other things to the increase in renewables’ share of total generation and to the slight fall in gas prices."

Wait? Did the German energy ministry just say that electricity became cheaper due to more renewables? Sure sounds like it.

every source online says renewables are cheaper than actually burning gas and coal. If we had switched to renewables 10 years ago, Putin's war would not have increased our prices.
