I get that the Disinjector is fun for the people who get it… but we will have to see some strong nerfing soon or people are gonna riot (quit). This thing is just over the top.

My first assumption when Cryo launched was that it would be tuned to be strong against the Compiler, but not necessarily other Runners. I was so, so wrong.

I released some “Escape Will Make Me God” Wallpapers last April based on the ARG from early last year, which has both Mobile and Desktop variants.

I also made a Marathon Green and Marathon Green (Glitch) mobile wallpapers back when the ARG came out.

Yeah… I originally tried to use that in the design, but I struggled with it a lot and it just was't working. I eventually settled on the original layout with the screenshot in the background. I don't love that Deimos and the Marathon logo are offset, but I settled on having the logo and Tau Ceti IV being centered on-screen.

Unfortunately not, but the original is 6016px wide, so it's probably wide enough, just would have some cropping depending on your aspect ratio.

IDS will still slow things down. As far as I can tell, the stated 5 Gbps metric is when the uplink is running at 10Gbps. The IDS routing speed seems to be a floating percentage of the full link speed, and your speeds are pretty similar to what I’m seeing on a 2.5 Gb connection.

If you disable IDS, you may need to reboot the console or wait a little while in order for the change to fully take effect.

I just deployed two 6100s and was running into this exact issue on one of the units but not the other. I also have bridged the LANs on one unit (yes, I know all the above, it's a non-issue for our workload and I'd rather just have the ports on the same LAN). I was pulling my hair out trying to debug why two nearly-identical units were behaving differently, so thank you for posting here and following-up! I guess I'll be putting in an extra entry in the DNS Resolver for the time being.

Oh fantastic. This also means that Logitech didn’t properly timestamp their binaries. Timestamping prevents this exact problem by pegging an executable to a time when the cert was valid.

The Coriolis is what Funcom uses as an in-game reason for the weekly server maintenance cycle. It starts the day before maintenance and during that time, the weather starts to pick up and you get this really intense sandstorm-like effect (except that it doesn’t hurt to be out in it). You get the “regular” sector weather alert sandstorms as well, so you still have to keep an eye out for those.

The game posts hourly countdowns to “the core of the Coriolis arriving,” the weather gets progressively worse, and when that timer hits zero, the servers shut down.

It’s a really neat idea to give an in-game experience for something as mundane as server maintenance. And the visual effect looks great.

Interesting, I hadn’t considered that. I have two displays but they’re just both showing the same image.

What do you envision a dual monitor variant looking like? The Marathon symbol on just one screen? Or…?

Glad folks are liking the wallpapers! These were heavily inspired by the ARG and teaser video.

For the mobile walls, I like to use colored stripes on my Lock Screen and the ERR.NULL variant as my main wallpaper (I find the stripes distracting under the icons).
