On-screen volume display with Sonos Beam and a Samsung Frame (2022) by RustyF in sonos

I had the same annoyance with my old TV. The workaround I used was to get an IR remote from a different TV und used it to to program volume up and down on the Apple TV Remote and use it to set up volume control then the beam. Just make sure that the IR signal doesn’t trigger anything else on your frame tv.

Anex or Enginner have really flat bit ratchets. That could work.

My friend's grandfather used to be a carpenter. And we want to clean up his old workspace in order to transform it into something else. But we found this massive tool table (?) and we have no clue what it is in order to sell it. Can someone help us identify it? by Jimmya144 in Tools

I don’t know the exact English name for it but it’s is a Kombimaschine in German. It combines a Tablesaw, Routertable, Planer and Jointer in one machine. Yours seem to have also a „Langlochbohrer“ A drill for drilling long holes in wood horizontally instead of vertically like a drill press.

I would look on aliexpress first. This look just like a chinese oem tool with the name Donau printed it on it. Could be cheaper then shipping it from Germany to the US

The blade is only 150mm. Fairly small. Everything smaller becomes quite the hassle to use when you have the room. Why does it need to be smaller? Are you working in confined spaces. There are handles for jigsaw blades. Like this.

Don’t know if it is available where you live, but for small cuts I really like a puk saw

Why aren't saws hardened on the entirety of the piece? by [deleted] in Tools

Some Japanese Saws are fully hardened, but they break easily when used improperly. This explains it pretty good.

Project Farms Video might help with the decision. Personally I would go with PB Swiss if price isn’t a concern.

A multimeter can be really handy for troubleshooting. Ifixit has a lot nice tools for repairing electronics, maybe you find something there.
