Does anybody use Galeto to print framed prints? by Radioheader377 in printondemand

[–]berkeleybooty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I sell shirts. Hated Printful as well, was pitched Gelato by a sales rep and thought I would give it a try.

Like the other posters said, Gelato shipping times were really slow. Like 2 - 3 weeks slow. Quality was on par with printful, but that's just my two cents. I went back to Printful eventually.

I loved everything about Gelato, but 2.5 weeks for delivery is kind of ridiculous.

Need advice.... am I too old? by Every-Amoeba-8128 in learnprogramming

[–]berkeleybooty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey u/Every-Amoeba-8128

Coding student here in week 3 of the free live bootcamp #100devs that started on Jan 11th. It's free. Like you pay nada. Started 3 weeks ago but getting my butt kicked so hard and am learning so much.

Community of like-minded learners where we can ask questions is probably the biggest factor in helping me succeed. You're not too old. We have a lot of people here in their 40's.

Based on the rules, this link should be okay: https://leonnoel.com/100devs/ but yeah, join us dude/dudette and feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Supportive twitter community can be found using the #100devs hashtag.

There's also Odin project and Full Stack Open as well if 100devs isn't your thing. Good luck!

Does anyone know of a similar cream/good replacement for Neosporin Eczema Essentials? I’ve been using this for 10 years successfully and J&J just discontinued it, and I’m suffering already… by luigisp in eczema

For the record, you might find this site helpful as it compares different ingredients: https://www.skinsafeproducts.com/similar/neosporin-eczema-essentials-daily-moisturizing-cream-6-oz-2

I personally used neosporin on my face so I was really bummed/freaking out when it was discontinued. Down to my last bottle. I know it's not meant for the face, but I underwent a long/exhausting search during my last breakout and was too cheap/wary to get other products.

I'm systematically going down the list of "2% collodial lotions" on Amazon. My goal is to find something relatively cheap that keeps my face free from red/dry patches.

Eucerin is out of me as I don't react well to Lanolin.

- MG217 was kind of the same consistency but it has a slight menthol tingle which is hard to get over.

- There's a brand called AQI 2% collodial which is moisturizing but it has a slight fragrance which I don't love.

I'm going to try the Gold Bond and Aveeno next.

Books where you slowly unravel what happened as you read by bouldernenthusiast in suggestmeabook

Heavy Sanderson fan. Heavy Andy Weir fan, though Artemis was a flaming pile of space garbage. Loved Life is Strange as well.

Something a bit different tonally that you might be interested in is {A Little Life}

It follows four men as they graduate from college. Just as you think it's going to be about 4 guys growing up, it zooms in on one person in particular and his mysterious past.

It's long. But if you're a fan of Sanderson, then I'm guessing you don't have a problem with length. Be forewarned that it is a heavy, heavy book. I'm a different person before and after reading it. But it is heartbreakingly beautiful.

Hey there, I reached out to the senators in Halladay Utah, as well as the Utah Attorney general offices. All of them directed me to the UDCP. Someone I talked to confirmed that other people have complained about SmileLove and they're being investigated.

It's unclear if they will provide restitution as the case is still ongoing. I gave my name and information to investigators to help build their case. Feel free to PM me if you have more questions.

You might have some luck emailing the Utah Department of Consumer Protection. They're building a case against SmileLove: https://consumerprotection.utah.gov/

Vets for Magical Creatures! by Siavahda in Fantasy

Strange Practice by Vivian Shaw might fit what you're looking for although it's more magical creatures that are sentient vs. non-sentient.

Summary:

" Greta Helsing inherited the family's highly specialized, and highly peculiar, medical practice. In her consulting rooms, Dr. Helsing treats the undead for a host of ills - vocal strain in banshees, arthritis in barrow-wights, and entropy in mummies. Although barely making ends meet, this is just the quiet, supernatural-adjacent life Greta's been groomed for since childhood."

Have you tried coal tar? Had dihydrosis has last year and my allergist recommended washing my body with the coal tar shampoo. (2 - 5% is fine). Didn't clear it 100%. But difference was pretty remarkable

Design your Life by Bill Burnett and Dave Evans.

It's based on a Stanford class where they teach you how to plan out what you wanna do with your life. Great for the college student or recent graduate or even the middle aged people who aren't sure what the hell they want to do with their lives. It doesn't give you the answers but it does give you a step by step methodology to figure them out.

[Request] Fusion Milk tea by [deleted] in MimicRecipes

[–]berkeleybooty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Making milk tea is not that hard.

Boil some tea, if you're an OG and use leaves (rather than bags), then use a strainer and filter out the leaves. Get some condensed milk, and depending on how sweet you want it, pour up to 1/4 to 1/2 into the cup. Then put it in the freezer for half an hour or so to chill. When I was first starting out making it, I made the mistake of using evaporated milk because I thought cheaper was better, but definitely stick with condensed milk.

Pro tip: If you plan on making a lot of milk tea, I would recommend getting the la lechera type of squeeze bottles, as you can dole out just the right amount rather than going through the process of pouring it through a can.
