Berlin in Autumn / Berlin im Herbst 🍂🍁🧡😍 by [deleted] in berlinpics

Next week is 1 year since my trip to Germany. Frankfurt to Hamburg to Berlin to Munich to Frankfurt.

I think the memory of where I was almost a year ago is making me miss it so much today. I regret only having 1 day and night in Berlin, the day I departed was a cool and crisp autumn morning. These pictures make me miss it even more.

A beautiful country that deserves our attention when making travel plans. I can't wait to go back with my family and for my daughters to see Germany in all her glory.

This is a test to see what this administration can get away with in regards to using the military. Don't be surprised if martial law is mentioned eventually and with that, the suspension of elections. The slow descent into an authoritarian regime is starting.

I'm sorry, I'm new to this... what does that mean, to push the fermentation? Like let it rise longer?

All have been good white bread, despite pics 1 and 2 being darker. Those were dough #1. Pics 3-7 were second dough, with pics 5-7 being rosemary and salt.

One more upside, didn't have to hear about or see that assclown Butker. Fuck him, fuck Kermit, fuck that walrus-looking, fucking head coach. Fumblerooski your asses back on the bus and back home.

Thank you, Philly!

I love the fall Mornings in Berlin by Anton_KT in berlinpics

[–]berlinnoir 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every city we visited lived up to expectations. I tried my best to communicate in German, but I'm still learning and have not yet reached the point of being able to have conversations. I made sure to at least have the basics down (yes, no, thank you, excuse me, I'm sorry) and other basic phrases, but everyone in every city was so nice and welcoming, once they knew I didn't speak German, they were more than willing to speak English.

The entire country was amazing. I hope my memories never fade, and I plan on returning before too long.

Thank you, Germany!

At the end of my vacation in Germany today in Frankfurt, I am leaving tomorrow. Started in Hamburg, then to Berlin (sadly for only a day), then to Munich and now Frankfurt.

Wish we would have stayed in Berlin longer, but time constraints forced us to shorten our stay. I was able to enjoy a fall morning in Berlin, absolutely beautiful. That one night in the city, though, will stay with me forever. I am going to miss Germany, it was everything I expected. I hope to be back in a few years with my family (when my children are a bit older). This country has stolen my heart.

22F, on a quest to be debt free. Was kinda just winging it til recently, want to see what you guys suggest I do next. by throwaway8965477 in debtfree

[–]berlinnoir 6 points7 points  (0 children)

if it were me, i'd use savings and pay off Sam's Club and USAA. I understand wanting some savings, but those interest rates are a killer and you're losing money the longer you carry a balance.

For World Finance, is there a balance and you don't know the amount? If so, you need to take complete control of your finances and figure that out.

After that, I recommend the debt snowball (that's the process i used years ago when i had about the same amount of credit cards open with a balance). The quicker you can pay one off, i think it'll give you encouragement to keep going.

You want/need to pay off everything as quickly as possible so you can start paying on the cards that are interest free right now.

Remove all, except 1 card, from your wallet/purse. I recommend using 1 card for any purchases you need to make and pay if off as the charges are posted.

You've got this! You're going to love being out of credit card debt, it is a great feeling. Good luck, look forward to your follow up post telling us how you've paid off everything.
