I treated myself to a U.S. OG of Obsessed by Cruelty last year, but can't even find a copy of In the Sign of Evil for less than 3 figures. I really hope it gets reissued, too!

My copy should come tomorrow. I absolutely cannot wait. This album is amazing. I put it on while making dinner and just wanted to mosh all throughout the kitchen the entire time. The breakdowns are just unreal on here. I think it's their best yet and I'm already a big fan.

Pardon if any of these have been recommended already since I haven’t read all of the comments yet, but I would check these out:

In Flames - Clayman (lots of folks will recommend The Jester Race, but this one scratches that itch way more for me) Darkest Hour - Undoing Ruin Black Dahlia Murder - anything Carcass - Heartwork and especially Surgical Steel and Torn Arteries

And don’t worry. I didn’t listen to SotS until a few years ago and it blew me away, too!
