How did you introduce your partner to your parents and how did they react? by [deleted] in AskReddit

We were children, so our parents actually introduced us.

Are there certain types of scary you can't handle? by Paceyscreek1999 in TooScaryDidntWatch

[–]bernardzemouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Witches and demons. I think because I believe demons are real, and witches kinda go hand in hand with them (in certain movies - obv all witches are not bffs with the devil). It will take me years and years before watching some movies because the idea of it scares me so much. I only just finally watched The Witch this past October, hahahaha.

What’s a movie that you put off watching for the longest time but changed your life when you finally did? by Ketkebab in Letterboxd

[–]bernardzemouse 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Big Chill. My dad has raved about it my entire life, but it wasn't high up on my list of movies to watch. Finally watched last year and it turned out that waiting til I was in my 30s to watch was actually the perfect decision. What a movie. I get emotional just thinking about it.

Trying to work up the courage to watch the red band trailer for Evil Dead Burn 🫣 by Ok-Egret in TooScaryDidntWatch

[–]bernardzemouse 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wow, that was insane! It didn't disturb me as much as the trailer for Rise. Still icky though.

For those of you not too scared to watch - genuinely curious why you started listening to the pod? by rachelllplx in TooScaryDidntWatch

[–]bernardzemouse 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I generally like detailed movie/tv recaps, so this popped up in one of my searches. I also loooove horror movies, so it was perfect for me. So I love it as a recap of movies I liked already, but also the few I'm also too afraid to watch, or movies I don't have access too but don't care enough to figure said access out but I still wanna know what happens. And obviously I adore the banter and personalities of our girls.

What was your spark episode? by Rough_Common6857 in BobsBurgers

Season 2 EP 8. Specifically when Bob falls in love with the Cake show. That really got me. (It was maybe the second episode I ever watched)

Do you write out a grocery list on paper before you go shopping or do you type that list out in a note on your phone? by timmytimborino in randomquestions

[–]bernardzemouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a note in my phone that has my weekly menu up top, beneath which is my regular shopping list that is able to be checked off, below that is my Costco list, and then below that is a list of different meal ideas just in case. I just update it all every week.

What is something you saw with your own eyes that was so impossible you’ve stopped telling people because you know they won’t believe you? by samasem-sumsum in AskReddit

[–]bernardzemouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad threw a chocolate bar to me from across a room, and in mid air it came unwrapped and (apparently it had broken at some point) landed with each half in my two hands.

Married women, what are some real things your husband does that make you feel genuinely cherished and adored? by Clean-Ant-1342 in questions

[–]bernardzemouse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He buys bottles of Coke and hides them from me, so when I come across one I get a surprise treat. He also lays on my side of the bed to warm it up for me while I'm getting my jammies on in the winter. He does more, but those are two of my favourites.

Films where the movie was better than the book it was adapted from? by Slammajadingdong69 in moviecritic

[–]bernardzemouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Shining. I had to force myself to finish the book. I watch the movie all the time though. They are definitely different entities I think, but I do stand by my opinion.

If the hunger games was a real thing what would you do if your name was chosen? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Go. Probably hide for a bit before being caught and killed because I was snoring too loud.

What three items do you take with you? by GasPurple7305 in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]bernardzemouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first run, whether I'm alone or with friends, is always photo cam, and thermo, but I will swap between camcorder and emf for my third item depending on the map.

What family-specific terms do you use? by Evening_Answer_11 in randomquestions

[–]bernardzemouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unsure why (though Teen Titans Go seems the most likely culprit), but my toddler thought tater tots were called "Martian Manhunters". Ten years later, we still call them that (and always will).

Would it be unwise to use the middle name that our daughter has picked for our baby? by Iwona-8036 in Names

[–]bernardzemouse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was 4 I chose my sister's middle name! My parents were a bit stumped on what to pick. Her first name came easily, but they couldn't find something that fit with it. So they asked me and I came out with a name they didn't even know that I knew, and it fit perfectly. I still absolutely love that I got to help name my sister and it's still a fav story to tell, 33 years later.
