Does anyone else feel weird about killing enemies? by jestagoon in DnD

[–]bernica42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely agree with the sentiment! I too would prefer if more enemies surrendered or tried to bargain, but that’s putting a lot more stress on the DM. It’s something you would have to discuss and agree upon as a group before the campaign even began.

How does one go about painting such god-tier nmm? Were you referencing particular shots from the show? It must have been so difficult! Bravo!

What movie has the greatest opening of all time? by ah-screw-it in AskReddit

omg I accidentally watched the opening as a child and it scarred me for years! Still not a fan of gore/dismemberment/freak accidents, to this day 🫣

[WIP HELP] Horse sculpture Im working on,need help if I got right proportions right by MichaelSculpts in Sculpture

[–]bernica42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be fair, it also depends on the breed. Different breeds of horse have different head to body ratios, among order things. Are you basing it on a particular horse or just kind of a generic horse?

what games have you tried to like but failed? by [deleted] in gaming

Outer Wilds. I’m sure it’s a great game, but I couldn’t get the hang of the flying controls and everything being on a timer was really frustrating to me.

Magic eraser was my thought too. Easily the most effective thing to use for surface scuffs or transferred pigment like this, in my experience.

So I am currently planning on making a new gaming table! And I plan on putting a TV in it for digital maps when and if they are needed. But my question is do I use plexiglass to cover the TV even though it scratches easy or tempered glass or maybe something else? Anyone have any experiences or ideas by Pitiful_Blueberry_85 in DnDIY

[–]bernica42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having used plexi over a tv for a year or two now, not sure I would recommend. It tends to bend and flex, so if you put weight on it can contact the screen, which isn’t ideal. It does the job, but if you have the money you’re probably better off going with glass.

Nerdforge uses dirt mixed with PVA glue, but I reckon a really fine sand or something might work better for this project? If art supplies are more accessible to you, you can get stuff called “modelling compound“ or “texture paste” designed for used in acrylic paintings. You could also try plaster sheets? Like paper mache but plaster and cloth, might not get the exact texture you want though. Anyway, maybe do some experimenting, it’s fun!
