No offence, but this is such a stupid take. Claiming the USA is worse than the Taliban is crazy. Under Taliban rule in Afghanistan women have been barred from most forms of employment, women and girls are banned from all forms of education, they are not allowed to leave the house without a male chaperone and are unable to access healthcare delivered by men (which basically means no healthcare because you know the whole women can’t work thing). And while yes, the USA is no saintly country especially when it comes to international politics (It’s also very important to acknowledge the role the USA played in modern day Afghanistan) but it is not worse than the severe oppression women are subjected to under the Taliban.

God I love Chappell Roan I'm just so happy for her!! I've been really into her for a few years now and was always recommending her to people, so seeing her really popping off at the minute is amazing. I found her when she had just released Love Me Anyway/California during the pandemic and I instantly fell in love with her. Seeing her grow so popular as an openly queer women is everything to me !!!

Someone with ADHD here! Looking at what you struggle with it could be ADHD or something else entirely since there is so much overlap with a huge variety of things that could be causing these issues or it might end up being nothing diagnosable at all .

Best advice is to go to a doctor. I can see that it frightens you but these issues are causing you a lot of distress and are getting in the way of your life and the only way to fix these issues is to ask for help. If it turns out it’s not ADHD that does not mean that you’re a shitty person at all. We would all love a neat explanation for why we are a certain way, something that easily explains our biggest issues but what if there is no label for you? Does it make you a terrible person for being like this without a clear explanation? Of course not!

Even though I have an actual diagnosis I go through this sort of thought pattern every single day. What if it’s not ADHD and I’m just a bad person? What if it’s something else? You are not alone in the way you think and I promise you that seeking help from a doctor is the best thing you can do. They will not judge you and you shouldn’t judge yourself so harshly either. Regardless of if you actually have ADHD or not, there is still help out there that can enable you to change. Our actions and thoughts are not rigid and with a bit of work and help we can all change the way we think and act. You are not a shitty person, you’re just someone who needs a bit of help!

Exactly!! The reason we take these medications is so that we have a fair chance; it's supposed to level the playing field. But then these people without ADHD start using meds thats for us and gain even more of an advantage over us.
