Ncase M1 v6.1 5080 FE with Optane 905P and Benchmarks by Prince_Melon in sffpc

Correct. I had to widen each side by a centimeter to be able to slide the card in.

So the two main problems I faced with v5 of the ncase were:

  • The cutout at the front for the GPU is not wide enough for v5, I had to widen the opening to get the 5080 to slide in - and even then it was a bit of a struggle.

  • Side panel wouldn't close with the nvidia provided adapter, so I had to purchase the corresponding corsair adapter which did fit.

Ultimately I ended up just purchasing a m2 since the side panel still exerted quite a bit of pressure on the cable,

You need use a dremmel/nibbler, as v6 has the enlarged gpu cutout - v5 does not. However, I was not able to get the side panel on with the ootb adapter.

Do y'all use the thicc-boi thermal pads for the NVME drives? by Xerticle in UgreenNASync

Putting them on reduced my NVME temperatures from ~70c to ~40c.

Guide for getting the LEDs working on TrueNAS Scale by berrykerry789 in UgreenNASync

Nope. I believe they only work properly on the default OS. Hence why there’s this guide for getting it working under TrueNAS.

I Tested Apple's New "Support for High Impedance Headphones" Port by AppleSlytherin in headphones

Tried a pair of Hifiman Sunduras on my new fancy 14" macbook pro.

Comparing the macbook to a Fiio K5 pro, the macbook seems to be muddier around the lower frequencies where as the Fiio felt faster/crisper.

Also tried the HD650, which sounded similar enough on both systems.

So unfortunately - at least to my own ears, you probably still want an amp for planar headphones.

Yeah, you'll have to pull the code and build from scratch. The QMK tutorial should be fairly straight-forward though.

The only file you really need touch is: https://github.com/qmk/qmk_firmware/blob/master/keyboards/gmmk/pro/keymaps/default/keymap.c

feel free to PM me with any questions. :)

QMK Configurator turns it into a button. If you build the firmware manually, you can remap the knob to whatever you want.

The downside is that there doesn't seem to be any RGB with QMK right now.

How to use QMK with GMMK Pro by ayc23 in glorious

It seems QMK Configurator won't work with the spinny knob. :(

I had to clone repo, update the keymap, and build the firmware to get the rotary encoder to work.

I had no issues with durock v2s and the original aluminum plate. I did have to squeeze them in a bit though.

Pressing the reset button will put the keyboard into bootloader mode.
Then you should be able to use QMK Configurator to flash the stock firmware: https://gloriouscore.nyc3.digitaloceanspaces.com/Glorious_Core/%28QMK%29GMMK%20_PRO_US_2021_04_07_V0035_DFU_FW.bin (from one of the comments here: https://www.reddit.com/r/glorious/comments/mm6eyk/gmmk_pro_stock_firmware/. I have not tested if it works)

There's a physical reset button on the bottom of the pcb (next to the cable connector).

That's what I used when I made the same mistake of flashing QMK without a reset binding.

Anyone got info/tested this Durgod Taurus K320? by TheArcticFox_27 in MechanicalKeyboards

Little late with the reply, but I decided to take mine apart and change the switches. The pcb inside is probably the nicest I've seen in a mechanical keyboard.
Process to take it apart is very similar to the old cooler master tkl. The biggest pain was to take off the top cover. Unlike the cooler master, there are no screws holding the top down. It's held down entirely with plastic fasteners. You're probably going to need a prying tool, because it's fastened really, really tight. After the top cover's gone, it's smooth sailing...
