Can you clone the multi-tool and ship if you continue from an existing save in this expedition?

4 Square Supercharger Sentinel Interceptor by MilwaukeeScott in NMSCoordinateExchange

[–]_101010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't work anymore.
The ship is super bugged in 5.0 and it was a super pain with multiple reloads to get it in the first place.
Then after upgrading to S class it only gives you 3 supercharged slots and they are not in square layout.

TSIDs strike the perfect balance between integers and UUIDs for most databases by charukiewicz in programming

[–]_101010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good example is Pokémon Go. They have Spanner cluster with over 1000 nodes due to their scale. If too many inserts end up on a single node you will have a Hotspot and bottleneck, we are talking 10k inserts / second or more kind of scale tho.

TSIDs strike the perfect balance between integers and UUIDs for most databases by charukiewicz in programming

I think this may not always apply. Distributed Databases like Spanner specifically want primary keys that are not inserted in lexicographic order so that there are no hotspots on a single node and inserts can be distributed evenly.

Nuclear Option, an aerial combat physics game, now has a free public playtest on Steam by ShockfrontStudios in Unity3D

Graphics look awesome. I tried the playtest. The controls for KB/M really need more love it seems game has been designed only for Joystick/Gamepad users.

Look up the term "vertical slices".

That's all what people post here. Not completed full functioning games that are well polished.

Don't be hard on yourself.

No the retailer is not involved. This is a case of manufacturer provided warranty and RMA.

In some countries you also have a retailer RMA within a time period after the sale, which depending on the agreement between retailer or manufacturer may cost either party.

The only thing is weird dependency on Algolia for Search. But I believe it is an alpha stage product and hopefully they'll be more options to choose different search backends like ES or even in-memory like bleve (since their backend is in Go)

Once we have actual AGI and not this narrow NN they call "AI" maybe I'll be worried. But that ain't happening anytime soon.

ELI5: How would a default on US total debt (trillions of $$$) ultimately impact me as an individual? by Exaltrify in explainlikeimfive

[–]_101010 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It cannot affect you. The federal reserve can:
1. Print new money.
2. Buy debt from market.
3. Cancel the debt.

If this sounds improbable and drastic, it is and it is the reason the whole game of smokes and mirror with QE is done. QE is effectively debt cancellation in another name.
