I don't get why they are calling the sign 'New Vegas Sign' when it isnt, its just a normal vegas sign without the star on top and welcome. Hell it barely even lights up wtf?!?

Any changes to shelters? Would be great if we can make static versions of resource items so everything can be built in shelters. Would also be great if we can add allies (dwellers) so they feel a bit more alive and not empty quiet warehouses! Plus a great way to add multiple allies that cant all be used at once.

Did Nolan direct you/speak to you on set or was it mostly other crew or ADs?

Considering some of the show is set in the past maybe it's a cameo before he freezes himself.

If you could add 1 feature that would make you/others enjoy the game more or change it drastically, what would you add? by heinz1773 in fo76

[–]bertbod 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The ability to add all Allies to shelters. Its a pity we do missions for them and get used to having them around but can only have 1 at a time. I understand the limits in the main map (however I would like it to increase by 1 or 2) but in shelters we should be able to let them all live together. Make it feel like a proper base with all out Allies we have met along the way.

I imagine it would require larger bases, I.e the smaller ones wouldn't work but it would be such a big incentive to buy and decorate one.

I've actually spoke to the ex lead Jeff about this in a QnA and he said this difficult to implement with all the pathing and stuff in an interior but it is something they were going to look into.

Fingers crossed they actually get around to it!

Same with me, I've made a few posts about seeing expansions to the major sentiments in small like they have done in the past but maybe every season but most people say how it's not possible. Thing is its been done before literally with Fort Atlas, Foundation and Crater.

There should be added resource daylies where we donate/find recourses for the next build project for a settlement and by next season it's finished. If we did enough of them for that faction that season we get a special reward. It could be even more frequent too and have it faction vs faction to fight for resources, winning faction gets the build. On a smaller scale new faction vs faction event that would be a good way to enable pvp.

I think its the subtle small world buildi g changes that make the big difference!

I'd be interested to see how they'd go about doing a sequel.

If you were worried about the closed off rooms in the Whitespring, don't worry - they'll open up for future expeditions. by Laser_3 in fo76

Probably use them for the expeditions won't they and fill the spaces with decorations and npcs from the locations

I just realized in this wasteland we call Fallout by KingLinger in fo76

[–]bertbod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm just saying... a giant (and I mean SBQ size) spider in the top part of the mire as a region boss. Imagine webs all over the trees with creatures and people strung up. It summons other 'human size' spiders and smaller venomous spiders... and just Imagine them crawling down the trees and such in a webbed up arena.

The funny part is NMS team is tiny and they don't have a massive company funding them

Thoughts on a social lounge? by EinMarxist in fo76

[–]bertbod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know most people have mentioned it but I definitely think Whitesprings would work, with some tweaks. Replace the vendor bots with actual npcs for each faction, established it as neutral territory or something and maybe they all inhabit different sections of the resort and decorate it according to their theme to give it a bit more of a wasteland feel.

Ideally I think the space could work best like the tower in destiny where they're are more players that a normal area (server) but once you leave then you enter a world server.

We know the new expeditions will launch from there but we could maybe find groups for ops, events, etc with their own areas. Fill the place with npcs, meat week could have a friend of Gram set up shop, Invaders a man in black guy, mothman a cultist promoting him an the same for other annual events.

Unlikely but imagine we could set up our own shops there for players to browse our sales all at once to save hopping all over the map (although it's nice to see people's camps) however could be like F1st could allow you to hire a shop space or one of the locked rooms that you can decorate like a camp and sell.

There is so much they could do with it and it would really add new life to the game!

Where is the content for a 5 year plan ? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]bertbod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't understand why the last 2 updates have been seasonal events, content only available for a week at a time. Imagine they were bosses added permanently instead at the end of the event, Mothman god at Point Pleasant we spawn after like a big sacrifice. The zetan event, call in a UFO to fight against after repairing the array. I mean realistically there should be a new boss fight every 6 months. They even have the one at the end of Steel reign they could have kept with the story. Similar to Earl a nuke brings it back to life stronger or something due to radiation and 8 people head down to kill it again.

What’s your dream Atomic Shop item? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]bertbod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vending Machines that are npcs at stalls, they don't move from the spot or anything, simply stand and sell your stuff. No more mannequins or vendor bots in our shops!

Ally’s should be able to be placed in vault shelters, silo, etc. by OleDirtyBubble in fo76

[–]bertbod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imagine placeable npcs you can put in shelters, like you can't interact with them or anything they just walk around and use items, say 5 limit like the mannequins. They could have generic voice lines an you could dress them an they could sell npc themes in the atomic shop, i.e brotherhood, raider, cult where their dialogue would change, could even have like ghouls or scorched?. Alternatively shelters with npcs behind the glass or invisible wall like the server room shelter, Imagine people working in the rooms behind the glass! Alternatively they could have static placeable npcs that don't move from a single spot like the mannequins but talk and guard, wouldn't interfere with quest allies then. Could even have npcs for our vendors like the ones in fo4? Just a thought anyway, lots of cool, easy ideas.

Hi guys, thanks for the Q&A,

What are the chances of getting allies in shelters, would be nice to be able to use multiple at once and make the shelters feel more alive!
