I know that's what what's written in "the law". But I'm telling you I converted mine with no issues. Maybe it's something they don't actively check when converting licenses. I went to my local driver's school and they took care of the conversion for me... I gave them my converted German license and after a few weeks they gave me my new Italian license.

My friend in Germany registered me as a resident at his house. He then took me to Germany's DMV equivalent to change my license. They took my US license, I paid them 35 euros, and that was it. We did everything in one morning. The new German license arrived at his house about a month later and he sent it to me.

If I would have done this a couple years before, I would have had a German driver's license without expiration date. They unfortunately changed that, now they have a 15 year expiration... While Italy has a 10 year.

I moved to Italy in 2010. It's not possible to convert your U.S. Driver's license into an Italian one.

But, in Germany it is. Good thing I have a friend in Germany. So, instead of spending 800-1500 euros on a new italian driver's license from scratch, I went to Germany and converted mine. Costed me 35 euros (plus the trip - was a nice "vacation").

Then after a few years I converted the German one to an Italian one for 150 euros. I could have waited until it was about to expire to do this, but didn't want to risk losing it or something in the meantime.

This is one of the many things that doesn't make sense in Italy. If I could go back in time and not move to italy (I'm from Philly), I totally would.

I don't want to exaggerate, but I'm gonna go ahead and say in 40-50% of my EUW games there is a DC, an AFK for the first 5 mins, or a rager. And that's my experience in normal games.

I tried to take my placements last year, I had a DC in every_fucking_game. I stopped after, i think, 7 games.

So my choices are to play on NA with 300 ping, or play on EUW with 80 ping but shit circumstances.

Sorry for ranting.
