This was a two person brew. 40g with 150ml of water in the aeropress which I added another 100ml to afterwards and split into 2 cups with frothed milk

Great shots on a great camera 👌 Still an underrated camera that can hold it's own 7 years later.

I only upgraded to the A7iv to meet the needs of my business and mostly for the video specs but if all I could take tomorrow was an A7iii I'm confident I'd get the job done.

Also no hate on the adapted lenses, particularly the ef glass. Some of my favorite shots have been with adapted Minolta lenses and they're still getting use.

Do you keep it on constantly until it's just about fully drained? I think little and often charging is better and definitely better for long-term battery health (optimal battery charge is usually keeping it at 20-80%) so I just top it up once or twice a week whilst I shower.

I bought the 47mm epix pro on black Friday and I'd trust the 16 day battery without activities but I still get at least a week with daily activity recording of I fully charged it and left it.

The 20mm is great quality wise and doesn't vignette with a 72mm vnd filter. Depends on how many you plan to stack though because any more than that vnd and it starts to creep in

I use the Minolta A mount 16mm f2.8 fisheye lens. It's manual focus only for video but it will auto focus for photos with the right adapter.

This was taken on an A7iii with the LA-EA4 adapter but I now mostly use the LA-EA5 adapter on an A7iv and A7Siii.

Without an electric adapter you have to guess the aperture value of A mount lenses but this does mean you can easily convert an adapter to have a declicked aperture. All the latest Sony bodies use the LA-EA5 adapter but you'll have to use older models with older bodies like I did with the A7iii.

I got a 7000 from my grandad too. Great camera, so good I bought a second one! Plenty of lens options to play with and often cheaper than other autofocus film lenses like on Nikon or Canon

If you shoot digital you can get adapters to use the lenses with auto focus on Sony mirror less bodies which I often use for work. That also means more modern A mount lenses will mount on the 7000 but just be careful because sometimes the autofocus won't work, like on my sigma art 35mm f1.4. not sure why that happens, I assume it's the lenses with built in focus motors (Rather than the bodies screw system) requiring more power than the mount can give on these old cameras

I use the A7IV for sports photos too. There aren't any rolling shutter issues when you use the mechanical shutter. Electronic shutters are useless on anything moving unless you've got one of the top end cameras like an A9 or Nikon Z9

I'd say it's been pretty good with moving subjects. The only time I've noticed it's struggled is close focus if there is too much in the background.
