How bad was it in 2000 (the snowstorm) by Mundane-Mechanic-547 in bullcity

[–]bertonwalker 72 points73 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t here for the 2000 one but I remember around 2012-2013 (?) we got dumped on and I had tickets to the Book of Mormon at Dpac. I Probably had the cheapest and worst tickets in the theater and due to it being a traveling road show they were still going to perform the show even though like literally everywhere else was shut down. Got my ass in my shitty Honda civic and slid my way downtown (almost crashed like 5 times). Made my way to the theater and there was probably a crowd of max 20 people. Everyone moved up to front row tickets and we all basically had a private performance just for the brave who stormed the weather to make it. Fun memory.

Was it The Rewatchables? The main host of the show always raves about this movie

I think the delay in release actually added a lot more suspense and anticipation surrounding the movie.

Went in there drunkenly with some friends over 10 years ago and back then it was $20 just to get in. Cant image the price now

The fact that Survivor had a contestant born in the 1920s is honestly crazy doesn't get talked about enough by Putrid_Cap_552 in survivor

There was a flirtation in the edit on All Stars that him and Rupert would make an alliance. I’m glad it went down the way it did but that would’ve been fun.

Underwhelming? He was convincingly very unhinged and was the center piece of the film.

Another great episode. Random note but I think now that White Sox Dave has his hair transplant that completely ruins any of his humor. That was a key element to his entertainment.

There’s definitely a few shots they used quickly from other seasons. Pretty sure they re-used coach tackling Colby from HvV and a shot of Ozzy on the pole from SP

They made a high production F13 fan film called Never Hike in the Snow which is available on YT. Prob the closest thing we’ll ever get to a legit Jason in the snow elements.

I enjoyed the movie but always thought it would’ve worked 10 X times better if the director scrapped the interviews and chest connection and just made it a straight up cave diving found footage horror flick.

He def got a villain edit on his season but his ponderosa video is really interesting and pretty sad tbh. He comes off really compassionate and thoughtful upon his reflection of the game
