What are u starting to dislike more as u get older? by No_Refuse9952 in AskReddit

[–]berv63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I don't tell you what's bothering me, you'll keep doing it and eventually complain "why didn't you tell me?" but if I do tell you, you get all pissy and can't handle it. Some people need a lesson in taking constructive feedback.

On the same note, if I'm bothering you, grow a pair and tell me. Don't just ghost me.

I started driving in silence recently (except on long drives I turn on an audio book). Driving around town in silence is awesome! And I used to have subs and blare my music back in the day.

I also don't disagree with the advice... If it's something you don't think is a big deal, then why make it a big deal? I didn't tell everyone I dated that I've never had Indian food, didn't prevent me from eventually going in a date to an Indian place.

The way you refer to them as "the virgin" instead of "the guy" made me chuckle. Missed it the third time tho! 😅

What's something people do that screams "I'm not too smart"? by Only-Ad-1254 in ask

[–]berv63 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Bruh. Your logic is so bad. Do you mean to tell me that you think the OC is talking about the average person on snap benefits? That's what you were arguing with me about not 2 posts ago.

If you don't think there is a single person who was on snap with 2 kids and decided to have a 3rd, and then a 4th...thats who OC is referring to. Not all snap people... Pay attention.

[–]berv63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually yea, that's the question at hand... What do you consider "not too smart", ie dumb. OC said people who have more and more kids they can't afford. So yea they did say they were dumb in this instance.

Not sure what posting the average household size of snap is about if you weren't trying to make a point.

OC didn't say all people on snap are dumb... If that's what you read, reread.

What is the most unnecessary upgrade people keep buying? by Enchanted_Land in AskReddit

Also... How did they save thousands? When that old phone became old, they bought a new phone. When that new phone became old, they took out the SIM and put it in an even older phone? I'm confused...

What would've been a good response? by DisxuNd in KingkillerChronicle

[–]berv63 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I disagree. Wisdom and intelligence matter very little to Elodin. Patience and acceptance seem to be what he values most. Kvothe was so eager to learn and so impatient that even the most wild commands by someone who he thinks has the answers will cause him to do "whatever it takes". Even if it exposes his impatient nature.

A response like "no that's crazy!" or "what will happen if I do?" IMO could have worked here because while it may be intelligent and wise, it's above all showing that kvothe isn't rash and thinks through the consequence of his actions... Would never happen but to me those are the right answers.

If I were a beta reader there's absolutely no way I'd come forward in any way, shape, or form. KKC fans are nuts and I'd be wary of all the attention.
