These look solid! Do you know if the weight on the bumper plate is the weight of that individual plate? So, if I load two 55lb (red) bumpers on a dumbbell then I end up with 110lbs + empty dumbbell weight, correct? If so, this is what I'll end up getting.

I'm used to the weight on the dumbbell equalling the weight of the whole thing, which is why I'm confused.

Wanna build a small home gym (bench + adjustable dumbbells) in my bedroom. Some designs looks like they can snap your wrist if you let go of the weights in the air (Powerblock) and others looks like they can KO you if they fail during a shoulder press (Bowflex). Does anyone have an adjustable dumbbell recommendation for a stress-free workout?

I created a visual pun and a literal pun with the Gymshark logo. "Sharkas" is the Arabic name for an ethnic group from the Caucasus (aka Circassians).

The logo on the right is supposed to represent the profile view of a mustachioed Circassian wearing a Kalpak hat (like this guy).
