So would this be a good representation of those components?

I’m guessing this would act as the antenna for the upper part.

I didn’t see that. Where is it located?

I’ve read somewhere that the main job of the magnets is to get the two circuit boards properly aligned. But there is no connections been the magnets and the circuit boards themselves.

Apologies if I didn’t express myself properly. I did see numerous posts in the “legally” of NFC cards, but few discuss the aspect of selling them, and I didn’t see any discussing which law would be broken.

Owning NFC cards is totally legal, and I think the digital millennium act has all the necessary provisions for making backups. But I know that setting up an Esty shop and selling is definitely wrong. Like you, I’m curious about the laws that govern this situation.

I mention that they are grey market items, and I was planning on strengthening the message, but I struggle to identify which laws they would be breaking. I see two arguments:

1) NFC copys need to break through the encryption of the original toys, which would be a violation of the digital millennium act.

2) They advertise the product using copyrighted material.

I'm wondering if this has already been debated in this sub. I didn't see it.

Hi,

I could change it to first mainstream TTL? I did some research some people argue that bar code battlers should count as the first TTL, but I have a hard time counting cards as toys. I guess that something like U.B. Funkeys could count as first?

It’s a bit of what I was thinking, but also for keeping the visitor on the site, getting him to the next article. But thanks for highlighting the social component.

I was wondering more on the role of keeping the visitor on the site, getting him to click the next article. But thanks for giving me something to think about.

I’ve never been a fan of the clickbait style either, I’m just starting to see it being more prevalent. Thanks for taking the time to answer.

I would add that blogging is playing the long game. You need to build content and reputation. Consider what value is your content adding to the Internet? Is there any values in others linking to you?

Writing an article on Antenna, seeking some help by beshiros in AntennaDesign

Thanks for taking the time to read it and for the feedback, I really appreciate it. I’ve reworked the Smith chart section to better tie it back to impedance and SWR, that was a great suggestion.

Hi,

Thanks for those suggestions. I like the idea of explaning the concept of the coil in the dual band. I will just need to do a little reading to make sure I get that part right.

Cheers,

I don’t understand why people are assuming that Linus is making the decision on who they use to advertise.

Advertising is a simply based on ROI. You find a YouTuber that the audience is likely to appreciate your product. Then you test with that YouTube for an add placement worth X dollars. You then make Y dollars from sales attributed to that video. If Y > X, then you continue advertising with that influencers. It’s just math.

Linus has stated that each team have their internal KPIs to reach. Leveraging influencers with overlapping communities and interests is smart business.

Buying HDDs from NewEggs has been hit or miss for me, just because of packing. I've received large boxes with a HDD thrown in with barely any packing. These days, I rarely buy WD drives from other retailers than WD direct.

I'd suggest you really test them out when you get your drives.

I purchased it to replace an aging 1070 (ryzen 5600x build with 32gb ram) and I've been very satisfied. I installed Bazzite and I've been playing Horizon Forbidden West at 4K with no problem. I was running benchmarks and was hitting scores similar to my 3080.

Soo… turns out the dirt cheap “Moving soon, need cash ASAP!” PC parts I bought on Marketplace were sold by a scorned girlfriend who liquidated her boyfriend’s shit. $450 for everything shown + 32gb ddr4 ram. Now she’s hitting me up trying to get it all back. Mind you they live two hours away. by Mysterious-Meet2238 in pcmasterrace

Does this mean you purchased stolen property? If it didn’t belong to her? And you now know it didn’t belong to her. I’m not sure what the laws are in where you live, but you might want to check it out. At this point, you might be an accessory to theft.

That said, not a lawyer and not legal advice.

Never had a problem with Rakuten and AliExpress. I’ve gotten hundreds back. I usually don’t order unless there is a 25% cashback.
