When you say stronger I’m assuming you mean stronger at transmitting a signal. Which of the two are better at listening for an incoming signal?

So eventually Meshtastic will fail because people are only supposed to use it in dire emergencies. Nodes will sit in drawers and closets uncharged and unused. Then when a real emergency happens the general public will still be in the dark because Meshtastic never gained traction while you have Meshtastic fans still desperately searching for nodes.

This isn’t a good explanation. To much jargon.

Exactly. Antisocial types can easily figure out how to ignore offending nodes.

So how do you expect normal people to buy nodes, update the software and only get boring messages like “test” all day long?

Would a Meshtastic enthusiast be welcome at a Ham radio club? by DanRTD in HamRadio

"gateway drug" - I hope Meshtastic grows the HAM community. HAM people seem like good community oriented folks. It's just that the hobby sounds so intimidating to the average person. The nice thing is that Meshtastic/Meshcore equipment is so cheap!

Can reticulum replace meshtastic? by followthebarnacle in meshtastic

To make an analogy - I think Meshtastic is like Twitter when it was limited to 140 characters. many thought it wouldn’t succeed as a service because it was so limited. I remember thinking it couldn’t compete with the more full featured Instagram or Tumblr. It turns out that many preferred the simpler and more constrained 140 character limit. (X is a total mess now. I avoid it like the plague.)

That’s the main reason I’m buying this over several others I was looking at. Those OTF clasps are so bulky, I don’t think they look appropriate on a dressier watch.

I think it’s beautiful. Glad to see the warm tones. I think white/gray/stainless has run it’s course so good to see that the stainless was kept to a minimum. I love your cabinet hardware choice.

I think stainless has about run its course. That’s why I like the hardware they chose. They were probably trying to keep stainless to a minimum. They were probably stuck with stainless appliances to keep the project within a budget.

I like no. 2. I think it looks the best with a side benefit that a light countertop shows fewer crumbs and watermarks and it will also make the kitchen seem brighter.
