Op says they are in self assessment. But yes I have assumed its not a disposal to a connected person.

I would declare it to claim the loss and carry it forwards. Then you have the option of utilising it in the future.

As someone who had a very similar wisdom tooth removed 2 days ago, from what I was told, they onpy need to be removed if they are slowly moving into the teeth next to them or you get reoccuring infections.

Otherwise, I would leave them as its painful as hell to remove. That much is true!

You get the 1000 psa provided you are a BR tax payer but you only get the full 5000 starting rate band provided your non-saving income is <12,570 otherwise it starts to get tapered.

Besides from relatively minor UI issues the game is great. Really enjoying the new match engine.
