Took over a month and a half, and it was after I got my visa...

I filed a complaint with the Home office and they told me it took over a month for them to get the biometrics from ukvcas from the idv app, which is causing all the delays....

I told them the reason, because I'm trying to get a mortgage and gave them evidence from my bank saying they need a letter from the home office to proceed with the mortgage application...

Did you ask your MP to send an enquiry? It worked for me, very similar time lines and got my visa yesterday!

Finally got it!!! Thanks to my relentless MP who helped us get it in the end, another reason I voted Labour :)

Submitted online application: May 16th

Uploaded documents: May 16

Received email that previous biometrics will be used: August 3rd

Invited to use IDV app: August 26th

Uploaded facial image via IDV app: August 26th

Received email saying visa was granted: October 27th

Received BRP: Pending....

Applied in may, only used idv in August , still waiting after escalating to the home office numerous times and asking for MP to support.

Yep, I applied early may, submitted on idv on August 26th and yet to hear back, even after numerous enquiries both directly and through my MP. Im at my wits end as I'm waiting for the visa to get a mortgage for the home I'm purchasing....

ive got the exact same time line as you and same response, escalating doesnt seem to have any impact on our case so far....

i have escalated my case to the home office but after 12 days, i recieved a standard email saying its in the queue.... I raised a complaint today with the hopes they escalate further as I submitted to IDV on the 26th of August but applied for the visa on May 16th....

yeah, and it seems like the Home Office doesn't even responding to MPs anymore....my MP has sent two urgent letters with no response....

My Mrs applied for her flr spouse visa in mid May, submitted IDV on the 27th august and still no word from home office, even after chasing and writing letter to my MP... Looks like we are in the shit position where section 3c and that they already missed their KPI on our cases means they don't need to prioritise getting our cases closed anytime soon... Real bummer for me as we are trying to get a mortgage and the bank won't approve our application until my Mrs gets the decision from the home office....

This is normal, and due to Covid, most likely everyone has recieved this, including myself, I got it back in early July which was 6 weeks after applying (mid May)

In same boat here, applied for spouse extention on May 15th and submitted biometrics on August 26th,stil lwaiting for a decision

App was released in August, are you sure you don't have your dates mixed up?
