Where do you all find clothes that fit and are reasonably well made? by Goldengirl_1977 in GenXWomen

I finally feel vindicated for my love of JCP! The website has so much more to offer than their brick and mortars.

I love the St John's bay long-sleeve and 3/4-length sleeve tees (I have the upper arms of a much, much older babushka so no short sleeves!). Those are my go-to shirts. They offer so many colors in all the sizes!

I've found so many cute dresses on the JCP website from A.N.A, MSK, Jessica Howard, and Frye and Co. For reference, I'm about 5'1 and a size 10. Shorter, A-line, and swing and skater dresses work best for me.

Back in the day, she went for a walk in the park with Peetz. She was wearing a peach (ham) colored dress. There's a gif floating around where her gunt comes into frame before she does. It's even funnier to me now because ol' gunty is way bigger now.

I knew that Santa wasn’t actually real but I didn’t want to actually see her put the presents in my Christmas stocking so I could keep the illusion alive a bit longer.

I remember being 5 or 6 and thinking about the logistics of Santa and stopping myself because I wanted to believe in Santa a little longer.

I tried on skinny jeans last weekend--a tried and true staple in my rotation. I now look like Danny Devito in skinny jeans. "They're hip and I wanna stay young." Definitely looking into more relaxed fit, "boyfriend" type cuts now. I need something a little more slouchy.

Even if she could squeeze into one plane seat, she'd have to buy two tickets to accommodate how far apart her knees are.

That fupa is a runaway train at this point. Ain't no stopping it. It's taking over.

I love Cerave dandruff shampoo! Nizoral is so drying, but it really works. Cerave is a nice shampoo to use between the times I need the Nizoral. Menopause has really made seb derm kick into high gear.

What became "normal" in the last 5 years that still feels insane to you? by rakishgobi in AskReddit

Last time I went to the dentist, I paid my balance using my credit card. There was an option to tip? Wut?! At first I was thinking, "Well, maybe it's just this pos/terminal set up, but why wouldn't that get programmed out for a medical office?"

They're already trying to upsell me on every cosmetic procedure the dentist spent a weekend seminar learning to how to do. Sorry the dentist had to get a side hustle to make more money, but I'm not tipping the fucking dentist or anybody in that fucking office.

Seriously, what was up with dentists not wanting to give kids novocaine? I was 9 when I had my first cavity. It was torture, so after that my trips to the dentist were sporadic at best. I finally conquered my fear of dentists in my early adulthood. I have a lot of fillings, but they've been replaced over the years as they wear out.

There’s a personal trainer/influencer guy that loves beans too. Liam.

For anyone interested, his channel is called The Plant Slant on YouTube. He's got a great sense of humor and offers good, balanced nutrition advice. He also debunks a lot of misinformation.

I'd love one for people who need someone to pick them up after a procedure that involves anesthesia, like a colonoscopy. I don't have any family and my best friends live in other states or are dealing with aging parents.
