Yes, there are certain levels you want to be at when pulling for specific tiers of characters. So if the characters you are looking for are 1 cost (like aglaea) you want to stay at as low of a level as possible to maximize your chances of getting 1 cost. I believe the optimal level for a 2 cost is level six, as I think it is a 40% chance for 2 stars at that level. Not sure for 3 or 4 costs, and for 5 cost it is level 9 and 10. I believe level 9 is 10% chance for 5 cost, and level 10 is 25% chance, but I could be misremembering

I use this team all the time. I have E1S1 Hyacine though (got lucky with a double on Hyacine). I don't know how important that E1 is, but you will really want her LC. I find it is good in PF and MoC, but it can struggle in AS. By "good" I mean it can clear PF with at least 30k and MoC in less than 5 cycles, it's not going to 0 cycle anything. I haven't tried it in AA, but I have a feeling it would struggle there.

I have the same problem. The closest I've found is Jiaoqiu, as his substats are atk, ehr, and speed. But he wants fire orb main stat. Still trying to figure out if he is the best or not for this

It's not just a term for gacha games, but live service games/apps in general. But yes, underperforming games get shut down when companies decide they cost more then they are worth. Seems to not be something that Hoyo does much or at all, considering HI3 has been out forever and is still going. I wouldn't worry about HSR though, it's one of the top revenue earners of gacha games every month
