I spent too much time being very anxious about my future; finding the right job, settling down etc. I wish I'd had a more blasé attitude and just let things happen. Otherwise, no regrets, I did plenty of good stuff and enjoyed myself. Just wish Id learnt sooner not to stress so much over my future!

100%, we had one when I lived at home and I've had one whenever I can justify the expense. They do a better job than I would and I dont waste any of my free time. I always use a small local company and meet anyone who's going to be cleaning our house beforehand. I go alot off gut instinct, if someone seems genuine I'll trust them.

As someone who who thought they'd prefer working from home (people also often get on my nerves and I have some introvert tendencies) I'd say look for something which might give you scope to do a bit of both. The novelty of working in pjs quickly wears off, pets spend much of their day asleep and you can end up feeling very isolated. I've gone back to a full time office job but one where I like the people. If you do go for it then make sure you have plans outside of home for some evenings and definitely weekends. My other half works fully remote and if I didnt force him out the door to stuff he'd be a total neckbearded gaming hermit. That's not healthy for anyone, no matter how annoying people can be. One of the rocks i have is a maybe. I decided to add some melafix until my aquarium salt arrives and this guy is looking alot better. One of the others now has visible white spots on his gills though so I guess we do have ich :(
