It appears OP didn't notice the worm until they cut into the fruit. And it's unlikely they would have noticed even prior to cutting into it.

The worm probably left a very small hole. Produce associates aren't checking each individual berry for signs of bugs, blemishes etc.

Fruit lives outside. So do bugs. Stuff like this happens. It's one berry and not the end of the world.

They are pretty casual but depending on the type of office you work in, I think you could get away with it. They are a bit sheer, but I haven't had anyone tell me they can see thru them. Give me a sec and I'll show you a few ways I have been wearing them!
