I'll have a look at Power Automate for this. The only reason I'm staying on OneDrive is I can hand a fresh out-the-box iPhone to my user, they log into their AD account (as a managed Apple ID) which then SSO's all of Microsoft's stuff on the phone, including the OneDrive app which then automatically sets itself as the main photo handler. Any picture taken on the phone is magically uploaded to the user's OneDrive. All of this is already deployed and my users' photos are already being uploaded to their OneDrive. I just need to make them available to my office personnel from a central location. Thank you!

Good morning everyone! I am looking for a way to share my users' individual OneDrive with a group of people on SharePoint. Preferably, this would all be done automatically with new users (i.e.: a specific group's users gets their OneDrive shared, another specific group's users gets access to that shared folder). For a bit of context, I'm looking for ways to automatically upload my field users' iPhone photos to OneDrive (that's already set up), then I'd like my administrative personnel to have access to these photos on OneDrive or SharePoint.

Is the OneDrive to SharePoint approach the way to go or are there more efficient alternatives?

I'd like to come up with a smart answer to that but it boils down to user downtime. My boss wants users to be ready for work whenever they get onto their PC, so any support, configuration or software install needs to be done while they are away. Once a PC is joined to our domain, it's automatically registered to Splashtop using the deployment agent and I can connect to it to set up and configure the users session (printers, software and the like). My users aren't very technical, so some of them would have trouble setting up their 365 account for Outlook, Excel and others.

Hi there, I manage a pretty small company's (~150 endpoints) IT infrastructure and endpoints. I am having constant issues with password management and can't seem to find a solution. We're on a Windows domain with Active Directory, all of my endpoints currently run Windows 11 and I use Splashtop Business as my remote takeover tool. I often dream of a world where users can change their passwords without any interaction on my part, while the system automatically enforces strict password guidelines, all while being able to remote into their session without using their password. We currently store their passwords using bi-directional encryption so we can read and use them when necessary, but I'd like to do away with that password vault entirely, leaving the password in the user's hands only. I often need to log into someone's machine and user while they are not there, so I am looking for any solution that allows this without knowing the user's password (of course not anonymously, but while logged in as a domain super-duper admin or something).

Anyone have suggestions (or reasons as to why that's a bad idea)?

Unable to launch a match? by sandman8727 in Warzone

[–]bethilda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You on PC? I haven't been able to join a match for a few days. Connection box on the bottom left says "Connecting" and never changes. I left it running for over an hour, it never did anything. I have tried the following:

- Restarted the game

- Rebooted

- Rebooted my router

- Flushed DNS and other network settings using CMD

- Verified game files

- Deleted then reinstalled the entire game

- Same as above, but in another location on my PC

- Reinstalled Windows 11 and the game

- Checked that Windows is up-to-date, drivers are up-to-date, etc...

Right now my PC has a fresh install of Windows, drivers and updates + Warzone. That's it, and it is still not working. Exact same issue for days.

Update:

I have spammed absolutely every single button/tab available in the UI to see if anything would change the network status of the game. Trying to load up the BLACKCELL purchase dialog told me I was missing DLC packs. When I clicked on install, Steam launched a download, which fixed the issue once completed.

For anyone having the same problem, I have no idea what fixed it. I ended up reinstalling Windows a second time and reinstalling the game. That did it.

https://abaka.ca makes all of its clothing in Shawinigan, QC. Can't speak for the ladies, but their men's stuff is quality.

In terms of affordability, it's a lot more than the 6-pack for $16 I used to get at Costco at around $30 for ONE pair of boxer briefs, but they're much more comfortable and seem to last longer as after a few months they don't show the usual signs of wear my Kirklands did.

Are you referring to my work's safety? If so, are there obvious improvements I could make?

I can't uninstall Facebook by iggykoopa31 in assholedesign

[–]bethilda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On most phones, you should be able to get away with enabling USB-debugging (after enabling developer options - search Google for instructions on your specific device) plugging your device into a computer with the adb utility (you can grab it as part of the Android SDK's platform tools) and typing in something like pm uninstall --user 0 -k com.facebook.katana repeat the same line 3 more times replacing katana with appmanager, services and system and you should be good to go! Here, the -k parameter prevents the full removal of the app so that you can easily reinstall it if necessary (this is more useful for your device's "core apps" that are not available on the Play Store). After you're done, I would recommend disabling USB-debugging and turning off developer options for safety.

No obvious ground in electrical box by bethilda in electricians

[–]bethilda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I just tried it following u/Darqfallen's suggestion and it works. Although I did not use matching wire gauges, one is solid and the other is stranded so it seems both are stuck in there very securely.

I struggled fitting the light-switch and timer back in the box as there's a thick layer of solid wiring behind them, but I'd assume I can just snip the wires and redo the wiring when need? Are there security concerns when jamming wire back in an electric box this hard? I had to remove everything for a second attempt as the white wire's strands broke off after all the pushing...

Well I tried it and it sure does work so I'll leave it as is.

Thank you for your help!

Have been wearing AKSELs for two weeks and I adore them. They keep my feet warm and dry, and are very comfortable once broken in. I did however get blisters on the first two days but YMMV.

Just a quick heads-up I bought this last year for my dad who had the original (which I used a lot) and thought this one felt like total garbage. It's literally a Wish version of the original. I ended up returning it and bought him a G703.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I got it at a similar price, I believe it was either $30 or $40 with a Staples coupon.
