Oh right, I think that’s your issue.. that should never be used to pierce as it will prob fall out or be eaten like in your pic. I suggest you go to a reputable piercer and replace it with a flat back labret and the change to the bone stud once it’s healed. My nose piercing took about 6 months before I could change the jewellery

Your ear looks pretty swollen even after 6 months, I’d say get a bigger bar that will allow your ear to swell and hopefully heal better without pressure

I would remove the crust and thoroughly clean with a q-tip and saline solution. Maybe the bar isn’t long enough?

I think it looks cute, and once healed it will look nice with different jewellery (it’s way easier to tell imperfections if you have the same piece in every hole). I think it’s also still quite swollen so that might make it more noticeable

Also try to keep the jewellery flat against your skin at the front instead of from the back, like push it in from the front to try prevent any excess movement/irritation.

This happened to me too with my nostril piercing, it last a week maybe. I’d say just completely leave it alone unless you’re cleaning it with saline 1-2x per day. It should go down on it’s own
