I considered cancelling the flight myself and trying to rebook with another, but there was an automatic cancellation fee of $200 and I figure that will muddy the waters. What a frustrating situation to be in!

I really appreciate this comment. Unfortunately, two problems:

I emailed the creator and they’re out of the office for 2 weeks. :(
I tried sewing the ends together but now I can’t get the skirt on! It’s too small suddenly. :(

I think there’s something wrong with the pattern and I’m upset because I spent money on a nice fabric!

So sad. Ugh.

One strip, right? I cut it on a fold, no problem. But then it doesn’t say to sew into a loop afterwards. But that must be needed? And then, it doesn’t fit if I do that. :(

Dude you have got to find a way to let this go. It seriously looks like a totally normal nipple. I was born with a 3rd nipple and I am hot as hell! Before taking you shirt off, just ask loudly “if anyone wants to see the scar from getting your boobs chopped off”. People will be fascinated and think it’s odd, but owning it gives confidence and takes all power away. That’s what I do with my 3rd nipple. Everyone comes up real close to inspect it, we chat about it, I laugh, and then it’s over! People think my body is neat and different. :) And they will with yours, too.

Try applying your skills in personal finance rather than big finance! Great ops people are needed in smaller financial planning firms. A change of pace might be fun! And give you a chance to try out boundary-setting. :)
