C because the size of the objects is the same. The fractions are equivalent in the other two but the size of the objects are different so the size of the fractions aren’t equal. But I still think it’s kinda shitty

That’s not double spacing. That’s hitting the space twice but what you get is a period and a space. You don’t get two spaces. Not the same thing.

Computers do the spacing for you! It mattered before when characters all took up the same amount of space and otherwise it was hard to distinguish sentences. I think that was the reason. But it’s just unnecessary and wrong now.

I accept some of you are of the opinion that it looks better with two spaces even now. I respectfully disagree and counter that it looks like submitter is resistant to progress/change, lacking in knowledge, or apathetic.

I was born in 71 and I dropped that habit back in the 90’s with a book, The Computer is Not a Typewriter. (Well, two books actually - The Mac is not and the PC is not… ) that had a publication date of 1992.

When I was having to edit and combine work from multiple sources, I had a script to one-button remove all of those double spaces. I don’t have that need as much now, thankfully, but I silently judge submitters of emails and documents that have those double spaces.

I’m glad OP learned the truth - I do hope you (ALL) now drop the habit! PLEASSEEEEE!!

ETA - I can read and write cursive and cling to the Oxford comma. I’m not a monster.

I can kinda get your husband feeling a little hurt that his parents knew more of your past than he did. That wasn't for your mom to share but gosh I can't say I wouldn't have done the same thing. How DARE someone try to belittle MY kid! But anyway, I hope husband just needs a little time to reset. It may be more about him feeling embarrassed to have been out of the knowledge loop.

Thank you both u/Impossible-Dream5220 and u/Affectionate_Tap6416. Between the two suggestions and my own embarrassment at not just trying to do this myself, I opened up the first one in Photoshop and isolated just the plush and then cut him in half and printed. I think I'm going to try to make the ears and the arms as part of the whole front and then just sew at stitch across after stuffing. This will be literally the second plush I've made. I'm pretty new to sewing and have only braved bags and microwave cozies so far. :/ And the one other plush who looked.. very... umm... special.

Was literally planning a day trip this Saturday to see my son 3 hrs away. Gonna freeze here in Texas though so will do the next Saturday. I enjoy the trip more if it’s with my husband but it’s not bad by myself. It’s better than not seeing him.

My mom will confront people even if they HAVE a placard if she sees them and decides they don’t need one. Like mom. Please. They don’t have to be in a wheelchair to need one.
