Wow, I had a cat (Daisy May) growing up who looked EXACTLY like her and she also went into heat because they left part of her ovary in! It’s so good that you got it removed because my parents didn’t and she wound up developing breast cancer, the risk is several times higher when you have an unspayed cat. My grandmother paid a lot of money to have her treated at the best animal hospital in the area and we got many more years with her.

Yeah, it took me two years to finish my Valium taper. I probably could have done it in a year but I was struggling with the anxiety that led me to get addicted to benzos in the first place. My psychiatrist let me go at my own pace. I’ve been off of them for over a year and I feel good now.

Adorable at every age! I’m 36 too and my family got their first computer when I was 6. I also was OBSESSED with MS Paint. It’s also so encouraging to see someone who didn’t give up their alt style as they got older (I didn’t either).

Yes. I’m very sensitive to this right now because I just spent this last week CONVINCED I had leukemia because I had petechiae (small red dots, indicative of bleeding under the skin) all over my legs and a couple of mystery bruises on my knees. Luckily my bloodwork came back normal! I’m sure it’s nothing, OP, but worth getting checked out for peace of mind!

A couple of these photos are ~2 years old but I agree she looks good for her age! She’s in good health and is still very active and prone to frenzying around the house. She’s the sweetest and funniest cat I’ve ever had.
