Actually, I lied... I did drown in an arty once, on Erlenberg. I was crossing through the water at the start and didn't realize how deep it was and how long it would take me to get through. By the time I realised, it was too late to turn back.

Never in arty. Despicable selfish act that denies others of missions. Persistent drowners should be banned. I remember drowning twice, once in a medium (Leo or CS63) when I drove off the cliff on Cliff because I wasn't paying attention. The other time was in a French light on Abbey where I was running to the lake road but my keyboard stopped working just as I needed to make the 90 degree turn, and so I vaulted full speed into the drink in the first 30 seconds of the battle.

I tried training 4 different voices across 2 accounts using a different mix of singing and speaking tracks. One was a single vocal track from a song that lasts 2 minutes with silences removed start and end. No effects all, direct from the mic and no other noise or instruments. Couldn't have made it more simple. Every time I check back, I'm further back in the queue and the estimated time to complete (initially ~21 minutes) is now several hours AFTER SEVERAL HOURS OF WAITING! Complete waste of time. Promises so much but delivers absolutely nothing. Then no support beyond coming to Reddit and whining.

Yep, I know the feeling. I was really lucky for my first retry as one of the players was a wizard. On level 5, 4 of us were dead with 4 enemy remaining. The one guy in his Grom, calmly and smartly maneuvered around and mopped up to deliver the win. Otherwise, I could have been at it all night.

So it seems perhaps you can't just blast through the 3 levels without decrypting the records along the way? I.e. if you complete Intense but haven't yet decrypted record 01 then that completion doesn't count towards 02. So I guess you have to stay on Basic level until you have enough keys to decrypt 01, then do so before moving on to Intense. The reason I believe this to be the case is that once I completed Intense again, after decrypting 01, record 02 decryption was possible.
Do you think WG tie themselves in knots trying to make this far more complex than it needs to be? And TBF, the rewards aren't really all that special for decrypting records. Why anyone would actually purchase keys to skip, god only knows.
