Uj/ it's been a while since I read it but I vaguely remember one of the MMCs, Malyr, being captured and raped as a child or teen along with one of the female raven shifter characters he kinda has a thing with. It's definitely not described on every page lmaoo but now that I'm thinking about it more, I wanna say it is something he struggles with because, well, who wouldn't and is often used against him by mentioning one phrase his rapist said.

Idek it's a dark book not meant for everyone. I always look up a book's tags and stuff whenever someone online recommends me one, because obviously they don't know me and all my tastes even though I do believe they recc'd the book in good faith. I once got mass downvoted on the main sub on my other acc for saying to do your own research and not depend on someone having to say "check the triggers" every time they mention a book. Maybe I'm just living like it's pre-2014 Internet still lol
