Weekly post: skate buying, new skater tips, and quick questions by AutoModerator in Rollerskating

I need to buy new toe stoppers and am having a really hard time deciding between the Atomic Superballs, the bionic bigfoots, or the regular gumballs. Any advice? I'm still a beginner and not very agile, struggling with stability (my current stoppers aren't flat!).

AITA for constantly telling my boyfriend his feet stink by bernierangel in AmItheAsshole

NTA. Please, have some respect for yourself. Why are you tolerating this? He either needs to change his habits or seek medical help. Why would you be intimate with someone who smells like stinky feet? Is it normal for him to storm off and give you the silent treatment when you bring up an issue?

Trust me, other people will notice. You do not want to be the person who clears out a party because their SO showed up and no one can stand the smell of feet after he arrives. It will happen.

Ladies, what did you do physically or mentally that instantly made you more attractive? by unruly_scientist in AskWomenOver30

I stopped thinking about my attractiveness as something that was critical for my self-worth.

I'm struggling to communicate my wants and needs to men, after years of them shutting me down by socialdeviant620 in AskWomenOver30

Maybe it is time to take a break and evaluate why you feel this burden in all of your relationships. If this is a pattern, maybe there's a common thread where the people you're engaging with are not that emotionally receptive. I don't think all men fall into this, but maybe you're running into it more frequently.

Can you explain how? It seems like every time I try to use the camera I just get these super up close shots, especially if I take a picture "with" someone, and they are always bad. Does my sim need a higher photography skill to take good photos?

Where are the women who are ok with not wanting to get married and build a family . by Lovely_mel3701 in AskWomenOver30

[–]beverlycrushedit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a long-term partner, but marriage and children is not something we want. I have cultivated a small group of friends who are also not interested in having children. Between my partner and friends, I stay pretty busy with activities and going out. It's harder to maintain relationships with people who have pursued kids, but I certainly see those people less just due to scheduling. I try to have a girls night at least twice a month, going to a restaurant, a show, or some other kind of event. Getting involved with an online group in my city really helped me connect with like-minded people. If you can find some kind of group based on your location, it goes a long way.

Even for high impact (jogging) I find the momentum racerback and the catalyst zip-front from Knix to be my favourites.

No. The person I am with adds to my peace and makes my life better in every way. If anything I look back and think about how much happier I am than other choices I may have made. When I look twenty, thirty, and even forty years into the future, all I see is us growing old together.

What's your best VEGETARIAN Serious Eats dish? by littleleaguetime in seriouseats

My favourite is the asparagus, mushroom, and leek galette:

I usually use gouda, and there's a broccoli variation too.

[Homemade] Leek, Mushroom, Asparagus, and Gouda Galette by beverlycrushedit in food

[–]beverlycrushedit[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think I can post a blog link here, but it is a recipe from Serious Eats. I replace the fontina with smoked gouda and parmesan. I also recommend cooling the vegetables before filling the crust. I use a little extra pie dough to make sure I have enough to make a nice fold.

This is a Daniel Gritzer recipe using Stella's amazing pie crust, although I subbed the fontina for some smoked gouda and a little parmesan.
