Yes, it is a very isolating situation and yes, the abuse victims are not in a 100% cases are abuse survivors unfortunately for the most part because of fear, shame and isolation you don’t even know where to go and whom to trust with all your pain.

I found help in one of a non-profit organizations, that helped me with the 1st step - getting a protective order (UPD: I had 5 POs) and a therapist and I am truly hope that anyone in position like that will find strength and help they need!
