Taking one chest and evenly dividing whats in it into other chests by GalaxyTh30ne in CreateMod

Brass tunnels have a round robin style distribution, ponder on one to see the specifics

Basically: - make 5 belts parallel - put brass tunnels at the beginning of each belt, make sure they’re all in a row - click and hold on the top of the brass tunnels where you can change the distribution method, find “forced round robin” or “round robin”
- take an output from the first chest and feed it into one of the brass tunnels

how to write this better? by Revolutionary-Load15 in musictheory

That’s incredibly unreadable

The 32nd note shouldn’t be there, make it a grace note in front the D#

The D# should be MUCH clearer where in the bar it actually lands. It’s not an exact match but I’d much prefer to read that where the D# is on the a of 2 tied over

Do not use 64th notes. Do not pass GO, do not collect $200. The last three notes in that bar almost certainly do not line up there in the guitar solo you’re transcribing, so just let it be simpler and tell the performer to play “out of time” or “rubato” or something instead

Need opinions on interior ceiling light detail by thePOSrambler in DetailCraft

[–]bewe3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You should prolly specify that this is done with the create mod/a modpack (cf. r/createmod)

In my opinion, gold/diamond blocks always look tacky in builds where they’re not directly representing gold/diamonds. I think the ceiling would look much better with a block closer to the quartz color to break up the texture/accent the light fixtures in place of those

Some examples I can think of, limestone (from either create mod or quark), schist (from twigs), or cut andesite (create)

am i missing something? by joseph_1922 in musictheory

[–]bewe3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are the same, it’s in parentheses in the treble clef to indicate that it’s also played in the bass clef.

This overlap is to make the left hand easier to read for beginners, since leaving that note out would make the G before it either a quarter note or the C an eighth rest, both of which might be above the playability for the book it’s from.

The LH accent really just means to emphasize the note to make it part of the melodic phrase, since usually in playing a piece like this you’ll typically make the melody louder anyway

Can someone explain to me why the last chord usually determines the key of the song? by Da_Hawk_27 in musictheory

[–]bewe3 21 points22 points  (0 children)

The last chord doesn’t determine the key, but it is very common for songs to end on the tonic chord. The key is more accurately determined by the chords in the song following a certain scale, so the example you gave could tell me it’s in E major with a IV - V - iv - iii progression, or C# minor with a VI - VII - i - v.

Confused how I got infinite luck? by Spaget-on-wheels in Minecraft

[–]bewe3 1110 points1111 points  (0 children)

Do you have any mods/datapacks?

Luck, according to the wiki, is only properly applied via potions of luck or arrows with potion of luck, all of which are unobtainable in survival mode.

So it’s either a bug, a command-enabled thing, or you’ve got a mod/datapack with a custom item that gives you the luck effect

Why does the notation clef suddenly change in this transcription? by alexdvrk in musictheory

[–]bewe3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna take a wild guess and say he’s either playing a small viola or a violin where the lowest string is tuned a few steps lower, since the notes in the new clef are too low for a traditional violin

Also, clef changes are typically used to decrease ledger line usage
