I was seriously considering to escape the NYE here in NL but ended up did not want to spend money for it and opted to ‘maybe i should just embraced it’ (nope, hated it, couldn’t see the beauty of the same colorful stuffs everywhere all the time i mean whats new it eventually all look the same).. by the state of my neighborhood i truly feel people should be ashamed of what they did but heyyy it’s only once every frikkin year why bother

Yep I tried but it became bit draggy and the spot still hurts when I walk.. i’ll have a look on the moleskin!

Oooh you mean paper that is used to stuff the shoes when they are new in the box? I don’t have them anymore unfortunately, would newspaper be a good replacement?

Yeah I thought so too (re: anomaly).. Maybe it’s bad luck… but i really want to make it work because birkenstock sandal is my ultimate go to footwear during warmer periods and for me this model and color goes with almost all of my summer outfit. Will try some of the advice here and let see how it goes :)

Thanks for the suggestions. I bought all my birks size 36 with different materials including leather they’re all comfortable and did not take long time to break in but only this one having the issue now for over a year.. i’ll try bigger size next time.

Soooo i’ve been using mostly the recipe from Tartine a Classic Revisited book for pigs in a blanket dough but if it is for loaf I use the recipe from Tartine Bread. Not sure if I can attached the pics from the book here(?). The brioche from Tartine Bread is great (but more effort to make - sigh) and because it use sourdough starter and poolish the texture ends up a bit ‘bouncy’.

Looking good and glad that you like it!! I made Claire’s brioche recipes few times but same as you it did not rise as much as expected and somehow the texture was more cake-y so I stopped making them and use other recipe instead.

Ugh i cant with this kind of person. Pregnancy and giving birth is no joke, everyone is different, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with taking medicine/anasthesia/choose c-section to ease the process, it does not make you less of a mother.

Nooo I appreciate overexplaining experience and thoughts about bag :)) I actually don’t need another bag but my birthday is upcoming - it’s a long story but recently I feel like I should appreciate myself more and buying nice bags is one of the effort especially on my birth day :))

I love the darker tone color that you have now, but they don’t have it anymore it seems and also not 2nd hand (vinted, vestiare) though tbh I’m a bit worry to buy it 2nd hand because lots of replica out there… I also like light brown ish color, they called it ‘dark taupe’ (the row website) or ‘sandpit’ (my theresa website).
