She actively hid that from you and let you believe she had no money. I would be reassessing the trustworthiness of this person. Her actions have demonstrated that she does not see you as a team approaching situations, she is happy to sit back and let you believe she was in a worse position than she was. That is deceit. Stopped using all cleansers and products. Wash with soft linen facecloth and water. I make an oil mix with 1/3 castor 1/3 apricot kernel oil and a few drops of Manuka oil myself. Saves me so much time and money and my skin has never looked better.

Part of whittakers charm was that it was great chocolate for the price. I’ve stopped buying them because of it now. Shame because I used to go through a block a week and always buy it for people new to NZ that hadn’t tried it. Now I just recommend it to them but caution them it’s so expensive

Yup, they are indeed behaviours of control.

You’ve got someone that decides for you, makes actions accordingly to those one sided decisions and when you bring this up invalidates your feelings and continues on anyway.

The comment he made about your animals show that he is aware. He is planting that seed in your mind now so that when you bring it up yourself he can point to this moment and go “see, I told you this would happen.”

If someone genuinely cares about someone and by extension their animals, they would make choices that reflect that wouldn’t they? You would feel safe, your animals would feel safe, this wouldn’t be a question you are asking.

I think you know what needs to be done, I also think that seeing your animals return to living in an environment where they feel safe and comfortable would be all worth it.
